I have had the same issue in two of my wraps and have used Bo Nash Fuse it powder with great results.

Depends on what you like. It is too large to be a light weight, close-fitting little scarf that slips under your coat. It works fine as an oversized extra-long scarf that goes on top of your coat.

For wraps that feel uncomfortably long or unwieldy, I often fold them first before draping or wrapping. An extra-long wrap can be folded in half so it is only half as long. Or an extra wide one can be made more narrow. Much of it depends on the person and how comfortable she is wearing something like a wrap / poncho / scarf / ruana / etc.

This is a very nice, soft cashmere. Obviously it is not the utmost softest cashmere in the world, or it would be out of price range for most of us. Additionally, it is not over-processed, as much cheap cashmere is in order to produce a soft, fluffy feel. At the beginning, though soft, it is not especially fluffy; the knit is smooth and tight. The fluffiness comes as it is worn and (gently!) washed. I believe this is why many of the reviews mention that their new wrap is not as soft as their older one: cashmere feels more fluffy and less smooth as it ages. Also, in the much older reviews, you will find that GH did change to a tighter, smoother knit (12gg instead of 9gg) several years ago. This would produce a denser, higher-quality fabric with less fluff in the beginning--though it will wear longer and look nicer in the long run. I have sensitive skin, and many fibers are uncomfortable & scratchy for me. This wrap feels nice around my bare neck and close to my face. My mother, however, is sensitive to absolutely all cashmere and cannot wear even the softest. If you generally enjoy cashmere, you will find this soft and pleasing.
