Cashmere Wrap is rated 4.8 out of 5 by 1178.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from All-purpose luxury item. I actually own this wrap in 3 colors. Not only is it incredibly beautiful, soft and warm, it can be worn as a scarf and wrap, and use as a blanket for travel. I recommend you wait until it goes on sale. Worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cherished Wrap I absolutely love this wrap as I do the other six that I own in other colors !! I wear them for casual as well as dressy events. Wonderful for wrapping up in and curling up on the couch with a book and cup of hot tea or for sitting in my swing on the porch on a cool summer morning or evening. Bet ya can’t buy just one !!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Generous size and soft I just used this wrap for the first time on a trip. I've had lots of inexpensive acrylic pashminas/wraps in the past, and I finally sprung for cashmere. I'm glad that I did. It's super soft and warm. The size is generous but not so large that you can't use it in stylish ways. I have the light heathered gray color. It's pretty and matches most things.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from So versatile I love this wrap, it is super soft and cozy. You can wear it as a scarf or “cardigan” or use it as a blanket (kind of). I would buy one in every color if I could justify the cost and necessity.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from perfect size and weight to bring everywhere I bought a black one because I'm always cold at restaurants and needed something "classy," warm and portable. I wear it as a scarf on the way - or just stick it in my purse. Doesn't fuzz either. I'm very happy with my purchase.

Is this wrap too large to use around your neck with a winter coat?

Asked by: shopgirl4
Depends on what you like. It is too large to be a light weight, close-fitting little scarf that slips under your coat. It works fine as an oversized extra-long scarf that goes on top of your coat.

I have been contemplating purchasing this item for my sister for a gift, however she is only about 4'11" or 5' tall.  How would one deal with this extra length if one is on the shorter side?

Asked by: NiniNini 57
For wraps that feel uncomfortably long or unwieldy, I often fold them first before draping or wrapping. An extra-long wrap can be folded in half so it is only half as long. Or an extra wide one can be made more narrow. Much of it depends on the person and how comfortable she is wearing something like a wrap / poncho / scarf / ruana / etc.

Is this a soft cashmere? Reviews are mixed

Asked by: Junderwo
This is a very nice, soft cashmere. Obviously it is not the utmost softest cashmere in the world, or it would be out of price range for most of us. Additionally, it is not over-processed, as much cheap cashmere is in order to produce a soft, fluffy feel. At the beginning, though soft, it is not especially fluffy; the knit is smooth and tight. The fluffiness comes as it is worn and (gently!) washed. I believe this is why many of the reviews mention that their new wrap is not as soft as their older one: cashmere feels more fluffy and less smooth as it ages. Also, in the much older reviews, you will find that GH did change to a tighter, smoother knit (12gg instead of 9gg) several years ago. This would produce a denser, higher-quality fabric with less fluff in the beginning--though it will wear longer and look nicer in the long run. I have sensitive skin, and many fibers are uncomfortable & scratchy for me. This wrap feels nice around my bare neck and close to my face. My mother, however, is sensitive to absolutely all cashmere and cannot wear even the softest. If you generally enjoy cashmere, you will find this soft and pleasing.

Asked by: MamaG904

The model is wearing the color Eco Sand. (it appears a bit darker in the swatch than on the model.)

I see lots of information about the quality of the cashmere, and the goats in Mongolia, but I don't see where the actual manufacturing is done. Where does the manufacturing take place?

Asked by: Mark30033
It is made in China.
