Well constructed. I love the color
I am so happy I purchased this. I love the color, kind of a pinky brown. It looks great on me, and is so soft and nicely fitted. Great feel of cashmere. Not thin.

Wonderful quality and fit
This cardigan has a nice loft to it and fits well. I purchased it to replace a much loved gray cardigan that was worn out in the elbows. The cashmere at Garnet Hill is pricy in my opinion, but the quality is very good so the price per wear percentage is good.
My only regret is that the neckline is higher than I prefer. I'm a fan of a scoop neck all day long. Having said that, I knew what I was getting as the description clearly stated that it was a crew neck. This sweater is versatile and will get much wear to work and on the weekends.

Very nice sweater
I have two of these, was unsure of size and purchased large first which is ok, but a bit too big. This time ordered medium and like the fit better for open with camisole underneath. For reference, I am 5’8” and about 155, usually wear 8-10. I hope that helps. Purchased on sale which made it even better!

Versatile through all ages
I have 3 of these cashmere cardigans that I have worn and loved through the years. I purchased one for my daughter in law not certain if she would like the style. She loves it and has worn it several times in the past 2 weeks. They even had it in her favorite color which made it a home run.

Simple Classic
This sweater is well made, warm light and attractive. I know I will wear it a lot. I'll decide next season how the sweater holds up so no judgement for now. I am forced to pick a number for the value so I will pick excellent, but ask me again next Fall. The sale price was fair.

Nice Quality
I bought two of these for gifts, and the recipients loved them. To me they felt soft but substantial enough to wear well. I am sure they will hold up well and be enjoyed for a long time to come. I would love one for myself.

Good quality & nice fit!
So happy to find a nice 2 ply cashmere. It’s very soft, and is on shorter side which is great for petites or for certain outfits. This is not boxy like so many things. I ordered 2 colors. I didn’t care for the silver embroidery but I love my gray heather. Hoping GH will have a retro cardigan with 3/4 sleeves in light, bright colors for spring.

The sizing guide was spot on. Bought 2 sz Medium (black and dark teal) to spruce
up my winter wardrobe pairing w great slacks I already own. The cut is very pretty,
nicely tailored. I love these. Already dry cleaned; no problems.

Love it!
I am very happy with this beautiful cashmere sweater. Very soft. Wonderful quality. I know I will enjoy it for a long time. I do think it runs a little large. I ordered a medium and I think it is a little more full in the body than the fit in the photos, but arms and shoulders are perfect fit. Love it anyway!

Wonderful sweater!

I can't stop wearing it!
This is the coziest and the prettiest sweater I've ever owned. At first I was a little surprised that the embroidery was metallic, but the effect is subdued. I put it on the moment I took it out the package and I have only taken it off to change into my new Garnet Hill nightie.

Great quality sweater. I ordered the turmeric. Great color, but it has more yellow than I had hoped. Was hoping it was more rust colored. With my skin tone, yellow shades are awful. Sent back. ;-(

Love It!
This is a beautifully made cardigan. I bought in two colors and have worn a handful of times and so far, I’m very satisfied with the quality and feel. I’m 5’3 and 115 and bought the small so I could wear over button down shirts to work. I might try the XS to wear over t-shirts.

This sweater is perfect. The weight and softness feels wonderful, and the color is rich. It can be worn alone - with a strand of pearls, or on top of a shirt. I wear a size small and that size fits well.

Stylish and Surprisingly Warm
This is the second retro cardigan I have purchased. It's incredibly soft, lightweight, and warm! It keeps the chill away in my cold office. You can dress it up or dress it down. The first one I purchased - probably a year ago at least -- still looks good. Recommend!

Luxurious and practical
This little cardigan is simple and doesn’t look overdressed but feels like a million dollars. Fits well over tanks or tees. I can dress it up or down, and wear it in a range of temperatures. That just about sums up most days here in central North Carolina!

perfect basic sweater
I bought one of these in Small, black to see how the fit and quality was. I've ordered 2 more colors. I have a 37" bust, normally a size 6, am a long waisted 5'6," and often I like to wear this kind of cardigan alone, although I also will wear it with another layer underneath, or else with a cloth jacket on top. Fits perfectly. Length could have been a bit longer for me, but this is long enough to cover my hip bone at 14.5" from armpit to hem. The sleeves are long - to show my full hand I'd need to turn up the cuff a bit under 2" - but that looks good. I also kind of like to have the longer sleeve over just a part of my hand, and it looks good pushed up. Cashmere is nice, soft, not too thin.

Cute cardigan
Cute cardigan with an air of elegance about it due to the classic fit and the color. I was intrigued by the mulberry color, which is more muted than on my monitor. I haven't actually worn it yet, due to the unseasonably warm weather. Fit is TTS.

GH retro cardigans never disappoint! The cashmere is soft and well made. I’m petite, 5’2” and slim through the torso, so I take a size small. It hugs my shape beautifully. I lucked out to buy it on sale and will buy another when the opportunity arises. Love the sweater!

Beautiful quality
I could see fall was coming here to Iowa and remembering that my current cardigans had let me down last year in our Iowa fall/winter season. I enjoyed the quality of a cashmere vest I bought from Garnet Hill was of a very soft, high quality. When this year's Retro Cardigan came out I decided to try one. It is marvelous and a great buffer to the frosty wind to come. I'm looking at in in other colors. Thanks GH.

So soft!
The reviews I read were all positive, and I agree. The sweater is very soft, comfortable, a lovely color (the rose). I'm tall and rather slender, and its arms are long enough for me and the fit around the middle is slim, as opposed to baggy. I would like it a bit more cropped, but it is shorter than the typical cardigan and I like that. It's definitely something to have in your wardrobe.

Is the “tumble dry medium” for real?
I have two of these sweaters and have washed them the typical cashmere way by hand- roll carefully to dry on a couple towels then lay flat to finish drying. I would NEVER put this on the dryer on any setting. Maybe it is considered possible bc the cashmere is “fuzzy” and not showing a visible knit stitch to maintain, but why risk something so great as this? Besides - “medium” is very hot!
