Asymmetrical Boiled Wool Coat - Regular is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 451.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from The Ideal In-Between Coat Coveting this coat for a long time and thrilled to get it during GH sale. Still think it is pricey even with the sale based on the fact it is unlined (except for the sleeves.) That said, the wool is so soft it almost feels like Cashmere. If you are between sizes, take the smaller one. This is contemporary, fashion forward styling. Not for frigid NY winters but you can layer sweaters or a light suit jacket underneath. The graphite is a rich, stony gray. Very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this coat! I've been watching it for a year and really loved that I had the chance to grab it on sale. The new version with the whip stitch trim is even more cool, but price won this time. Fits true to size with enough room for a sweater underneath. I love it because it doesn't look like everything else walking down the street!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous This jacket is wonderful. The wool is not too thick like many boiled wool coats I've owned. It is stiff enough to hold its shape and thin enough to have a nice drape at the neck and lower hanging portion. The best detail is that the sleeves are lined for easy on and off especially if wearing layers. I've taken pictures and sent them to my friends insisting they get one too. It's a classy addition to any outfit. I can't wait for the weather to turn cold enough to wear it. I am 5'2" and ordered a petite 12 which is my normal size.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and Fun Love this jacket! It is so stylish and comfortable...and it looks good with everything. I'm 5'2" and I bought the Petite XS. The body fits great but I'll have to have the sleeves hemmed a bit. Oh well, its definitely worth it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Chic in an Asymmetrical Pattern Love this coat. I purchased it for traveling to Italy and it is exactly what I need. The lightweight wool will be prefect for the time of year and I will feel stylish enough to walk the streets of Rome. Paired with a great pair of boots, even my 5'1" stature is sure to impress.

Pear shaped advice needed

I am 5'2" and 165. My torso and shoulders are pretty narrow (I wear a 34D), but my hips and rear end are not (size 14 in slacks). This looks like it should work on me but True Fit is saying it won't. Any advice on sizing?
Asked by: Leesburg
We would suggest to compare your body measurements to the Women's Size chart to find the best size for your figure.

The barley color appears as 2 different colors on my screen. Is it closer in reality to what is photographed on the model outside or the one inside?

Asked by: Gypsy1996
The barley is the lighter shade shown.

What is the real color of the teal?

I have this in black and LOVE it. Ordered in dark teal a couple months ago, and what showed up was more of a greyish, muted, speckled sky blue that looked like one of those old rug pads. Really not attractive and not anywhere close to the pictures or "dark teal" color. Was it just a fluke? Or is that what is shipping for "dark teal". And what about the red? Can you describe it a bit more? (I also ordered the slate color last year and found it too faded/muted, very ho-hum) Would love to find another color in this jacket that works because its really beautiful.
Asked by: WorkingMominSeattle
The Dark Teal is more of a grayish blue color.

Has anyone found that this coat is actually running smaller than prior years?

I purchased this coat in the fall 2014 and love it. I have purchased two black versions in the same (prior) size and they are both smaller/shorter...I would say petite sized but mislabeled.
Asked by: ToniL
I have the black from a couple yrs back in size 2 (probably 2014 as well) Ordered the 2 in teal this year. Fit seemed the same, but the color was no where near what is showing on the web (actually have a question posted about that) and I sent it back. If I still had it, would do a side by side comparison for you, but really don't remember anything feeling/looking that different, certainly not to think of it as a petite.
