Love this coat!
I now own three of these boiled wool coats. It is easy to wear, lightweight but warm and I receive many compliments. My pregnant daughter in law borrowed one for her final trimester and it easily covered her and kept her warm.

Incredibly stylish, it’s warm too
I love this coat so much I bought one for my sister too. The quality of the wool is lovely, the clasp is good quality and the lining in the arms to make it easy to slip on and off finishes off this great coat

Have wanted this coat for years -- it's wonderful!
I've admired this coat for several years, and finally got it on sale. It's every bit as fabulous as I'd hoped! Comfy, elegant, fun to wear. I run between a 10-12, but have long arms and broad-ish shoulders. For this coat, I chose size 12, and am delighted with the fit.

Nice Fall Fashion
The olive plaid asymmetrical coat is very fashionable. I like the asymmetry, the buckle closure, and the plaid color. It is true the sleeves are a little tight. This coat is fine for fall and winter here in central NC. It was pricey, but I bought it on sale.

Compliment worthy
Generous fit (size down). I get tons of compliments. I bought the cinnamon and while it wasn't my first choice, it does pair well with many other outfits. The sleeves are lined which makes it comfortable when wearing short sleeves. I am able to wear a sweater underneath which makes it comfortable when walking in temps in the 30s-40s. I am 5'8" 145lb. Bought size small.

is the graphite color a cool grey? or is warmer like the GH ashwood items?
Yes, the gray is a cool gray.

Question from Minnesota: how much lining is "lined?" Is this a "fall jacket" or a "winter coat?" Thanks!
I live in Minnesota and have this coat. It is a fall jacket, NOTa Minnesota winter coat. The only lining is in the sleeves.

Bought this in red, years ago. Size 12 based on your charts, and "True Fit". Coat sleeves 2-3 inches too long, coat was HUGE. I've lost 20 pounds. Your size chart and "TRUE FIT" say size 10, but my experience says size 8. Coat size still running huge?
Please click the "Fit & Garment Measurements" tab for this item on our website. This has the actual measurements for the coat and can assist you in choosing the right size.

Is this coat 100% wool? Or a combo of alpaca, acrylic and wool?
The shell of the coat is 100% boiled wool.

What is the diameter of the size 6 coat sleeves compared to those of the size 8? I think the 6 would fit me better but I worried the sleeves might be too tight.
There is approximately a one inch difference in the size 6 and 8.

The photos all show women with shirts that cover their necks (i.e., turtle and mock necks, and collared). Does anyone have any feelings on how this looks with a crew neck or similar? I'm not worried about itch, just interpretation on neatness / looks.
This coat looks classy and neat with any type of top (crew neck, ballet neck etc.). For chillier temps, we like a scarf added to this coat to complete the look.

Is the boiled wool itchy?
The boiled wool is very soft. It does not have that itchy feel one experiences with wool.
