Asymmetrical Boiled Wool Coat - Regular is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 801.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice weight I’ve been wearing this every day since it arrived. It’s light, and flowy, and the lining in the sleeves makes it easy to slip on and off.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from I love this coat! The quality of this coat is exceptional; from the lined sleeves, to the decorative stitching. It is much warmer than I anticipated ~ this is a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simple & Elegant Well, this little number is absolutely fantastic! I’m 5’6”, 128# with a 34B bust size. I ordered my usual size 6 which was quite large on me. Reordered the 4 which is perfect and still big enough if I want to wear something a little heavier under it. It’s a great weight for fall and would be super elegant dressed up, or great with jeans and tall boots.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Absolutely Love This Coat I wanted a coat in navy that was a different style than than the usual straight fitting cut. This coat exceeded my expectations. It's even better than the photos. It has style, flair, the boiled wool is lovely and I'm already thinking I need another one.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Warm and stylish I bought two different colors (graphite and barley Whipstitch) and two difference sizes of this coat. I have received a lot of complements for wearing the coats. I am in Northern California and the mornings and evenings are chilly. This coat is my go-to outerwear! For your reference, I am 5'4 1/2". 108lbs. Pro: Both of them are super warm and comfortable. Graphite color is very chic. I especially appreciate the lining inside the boiled wool. It adds warm and prevent itchiness from wool. They are stylish and pair well with jeans, skirts or dresses. Con: The size runs a bit big. I usually wear regular XS (size 00). But the sleeves of the regular XS are really long. The petite XS works much better for my frame.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great coat As the temperatures are still in the 80’s, I have not worn this outside yet. I have a wool allergy and am delighted to find this does not cause my usual reaction to wool—itching and redness. The drape is lovely. I am not sure how warm it will be but think it will be fine for temperatures as low as 40*.

What's the ideal temperature outside to wear this? I live in Southern California and I want to know if this would be too warm to wear here.

Asked by: yogagirl07
We start wearing boiled wool once the weather dips into the 40s and 50s.

Could you measure the width of the arms at the elbow and wrist, please? I'd like to wear this with sweaters, some of which are bulky.

Asked by: writergirl528
We measured our size 08 sample and the elbow is approximately 11.5" in diameter and the wrist about 10" in diameter measured around the outside of the garment. The sleeves are lined.

Headed to a very wet climate!! Lots of rain! I read that boiled wool is water and dirt resistant to a degree. I'd like to give my Barley Whipstitch coat an extra layer of protection. Can I use a weatherproofing spray on it such as Scotchguard?

Asked by: Libby777
We do not recommend using any kind of waterproofing treatment on your coat.
