Andean Alpaca Plaid Coat is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I love this coat! I love the way it fits and looks. I bought a small and it is roomy. As another reviewer said, it is light weight, which I prefer because I do not like heavy coats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gorgeous This was my big splurge this Winter but on sale it was a good buy. I can't say enough about how I love this coat. It is so soft and warm and comfortable while still having structure. I get so many compliments wearing it and it goes will so much of my wardrobe and winter sweaters that have neutral colors.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful But! I purchased this beautiful coat in a small- it was huge! Much to my regret I had to return it! I’m 5’2 120 for reference- I normally take an extra small or a small!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful coat - runs big I'm 5'-6" and 125 lbs and ordered a medium. It was huge on me and very boxy. Had to send back... not sure if small would have looked better as there are none left.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from This is a jacket, NOT a coat First of all, Garnet Hill, what on earth is going on in your shipping dept? The box containing this garment was very carelessly taped. The bottom surface flaps did not meet and were not taped together and the fabric was exposed! Worse yet, when I opened the box, I discovered a wrinkled mess. The coat had not been carefully folded, and the plastic garment bag had been so hastily shoved on that nearly all of the coat was exposed to the cardboard box. It's a wonder that the fabric did not get damaged or stained in the course of delivery. Given this appalling lack of "handling", I respectfully request that 50% of the initial Shipping & Handling fee be refunded. As for the garment itself, I really liked the colors, cut (allows for a sweater or suit beneath), and overall length (33". GH- you need to include this detail in the online description. "Above the knee" is not helpful. Above whose knee? Someone 5'9" or 5'2" ?). The fabric is soft, but it is entirely too thin. It's downright translucent. I have scarves that are thicker than this. Furthermore, the fabric ratio (35% alpaca/60% wool/5% nylon) does not warrant this price tag. Had it been 65% alpaca it would likely have been much warmer and I may have kept it. The reviewers who commented favorably about its warmth must live in southern climates. In northern Utah, this is scarf weight. It is most definitely not adequate as a winter coat.
