Wool & Cotton Plaid Blanket 3.7 5 7 7
Fab Blanket!! I purchased a twin size of this blanket to use on my sofa. I was looking for something large enough to cover my toes when napping and not too heavy. This blanket fits the bill! The fabric is divine. Soft and cozy yet not too warm. I was worried about pilling but so far no sign of pilling. This one is a keeper! January 20, 2015
Cozy. Great Winter Blanket Very Cozy blanket that adds just the right amount of warmth and weight to winter nights. I like the color options but wish they had additional colors (especially in earth and sky tones) . I am not as fond of the stripe pattern. I wish they made in simple solid, herringbone, heather, or similar SUBTLE pattern. January 17, 2015
Piles of "fluff" I was delighted with this blanket upon opening the package. The weight, softness, feel and appearance were excellent. I wash everything before using, and that is where things went downhill fast I have never seen so much "stuff" in the washer. I tried to shake as much of the fiber off as possible before putting the blanket in the dryer. It was necessary to clean the lint filter every five to ten minutes. Upon removing the blanket from the dryer and shaking it the feathery light fibers went everywhere. Even after diligently trying to sweep and vacuum them all, they are still reappearing from under appliances and other unknown places. Washing was on gentle cycle, cold water, and drying was on low heat. When almost dry, I spread the blanket to finish drying--which continued to spread the fibers everywhere. After one washing the blanket still has a nice heft and hand in spite of what appears to be a quart or two of fibers escaping. It seems likely that repeated laundry cycles would result in something like a very thick flannel sheet--and a very expensive one. January 15, 2015
Warm and soft but colors a little off I hesitated on this purchase because of price and the reviewer saying it's scratchy. I don't know what they're talking about. The Marino and cotton blend makes this very soft and it feels like a thick fleece. I love it. Only thing is that the colors don't match anything else I bought here. The gray is in a different family than the paintbrush flannel heather gray and is very pale. The off-white that is the main color on the opposite side is really yellowy and will not match anything you own that is actually off-white. I use it under another layer so that doesn't really matter as this is for winter use only. Bought it on sale, which helped with the rather steep price. I bought a king for use on my queen bed and the sides are perfect length (could actually be longer before they're too long) and I tuck the extra length under the bed. Definitely recommend. This replaced my washable wool Pendleton blanket that really is too scratchy and too small for a queen. December 31, 2014
Love this blanket This is really a lovely blanket, so soft and cuddly. Quite warm. I got the titanium (lt. Grey) and its a very nice color. I would definitely buy this again or recommend it! Am very thrilled with this purchase. This is made in Germany. December 15, 2014
So wanted to like this blanket I have been looking for the perfect blanket that is warm, soft and washable. I thought this was it but when I put it on my bed the blanket has done nothing but pill - in a BIG way. I washed the blanket on delicate wash and drying on LOW and the dryer was FILLED with lint. I also ordered a King size blanket for a full size bed because I wanted it to fall to the floor. After drying the blanket it shrunk about 10 inches. I thought that perhaps the pilling and such would stop after the initial wash - no such luck. It continued. I washed and dried the blanket three times and each time the amount of lint and pilling was staggering. Again, I really want to like this blanket but I'm afraid there won't be much left of it if it keeps up this pace. Bummed! October 11, 2014

I ask because the description mentions that the blanket is jacquard woven, but in the close-up images the stripes look printed or painted on.
