Women's Cashmere Ankle Socks is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 273.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Walking in Clouds! These are the best cashmere socks that I've ever had! Thick, soft clouds surrounding your feet -- and they keep their shape, use after use. These socks make winter even more fun!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cozy and Warm! These cashmere socks are so warm and comfortable plus have great colors. I live where it still snows into April and has snowed in every month of the year at least once. The snow standing around our house will be here for a month or two and since I'm always cold I need my warmest socks. Those are only the cashmere socks from Garnet Hill.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Nice socks These socks are very comfortable and warm. Only one problems - you have to hand wash and dry flat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from These socks are great! I love these socks and have many pairs. Excellent quality, not too thick or too thin, super soft! I would recommend not putting them in the dryer, as my older ones have become a bit felted/overly fuzzy over the years, and I think it's from that. My older ones have also become threadbare on the bottom over the years, not sure if that's from the stress of machine washing or not.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Necessary if you are always cold. I am ALWAYS COLD. I usually rely on wool socks to get me through winter, but I wanted to try another option. I have never worn cashmere socks, but now I anticipate buying cashmere socks going forward. The size range for these lists: shoe size 5-10. I'm a size 9 narrow, and I think these fit a bit roomy width-wise and may be a bit large for a shoe size 5-6. I intend to wash them once in warm water to shrink them down to fit a little tighter. Although they don't mention it, I would call these ankle socks "boot socks" as the are tall enough to peek out of the top of the average 8 eye boot. I appreciate that these are made in the USA, and that justifies the price.

How have you improved socks' quality/durability this season?

I recently ordered 3 more pairs of cashmere socks and hope the problems I exerienced in 2011 and early 2012 -- threadbare heels and bottoms; holes near toes -- which reviewers also voiced, have been solved. These socks are warm, luxurious and lovely, but I want them to last longer than 2-3 months! Thank you.

My advice would be this: If you want durability, buy socks in a wool/nylon blend. Cashmere is a luxury fabric, like silk, and is not known for its durability, just its soft hand. Treat them gently.

You say one size fits all. How can that be? What is the length of the foot, measured from heel to toe?

Asked by: bkfld
These socks have a length of 8.5". They fit women's shoe size 5-10.

I would like to purchase these as gift, but the recipient has large calves. How well do they stretch?

Asked by: Irmgard
These do not have great deal of stretch, particularly at the ribbed cuff.
