They worked for my daughter
Yes, they run small, but the fit was great for my daughter's body type. While I haven't laundered them yet, the fit is good.

funny dimensions
For my 9-yr-old daughter, I ordered a size 10. These pants fit like the old-fashioned high-waisted pants on her, but the waist was a bit tight. It fit in the behind, but the legs were too short (high water pants). The front crotch area of the pant seemed to sag down a bit.. funny dimensions. Material was of good quality; cute features. It just had funny dimensions.

Large waist/seat
Length was good and fit through legs was good, but seat and waist of the pants is huge! Need to return...

Weird dimensions
I bought these pants in the 10(8) for my daughter who is almost 8. The length was good, and the fit through the legs was good. These are not "skinny-jean style" as described. The waist was huge! I know you can adjust it, but it still was big. I will be returning these.
