What color is Shell Pink?
I should have believed the color shown in the photo NOT the color name!
Color is a difficult thing when choosing from a photo. I know that you can't trust what you see, which is why I allowed myself to be swayed by the color name into thinking that Shell Pink really was pink not light coral (orangey-pink). I was wrong. Shell Pink is not what I would call pink at all, and now I'll have to pay to return these sheets...which, by the way, do seem much thinner than other 300 count percale I've had.

Lovely sheets
Just purchased these sheets and they washed well and feel wonderful - smooth
and crisp, just as the description states. I only wish the Queen size fitted sheet was available in a standard depth, rather than only an extra deep pocket. I like a firm mattress and am not a fan of pillow top mattresses and it's getting hard to find fitted sheets that really fit, particularly in good quality solid colors. Otherwise though, these are lovely sheets.

Look no further.
I've tried other brands of percale sheeting, but Garnet Hill is my favorite. I like a hard finish to my sheeting -- and our house guests must, too, because they always rave about our 'crisp' sheeting.

great wedding gift
I bought these as wedding gift for friends who live in a hot & humid climate. I wanted sheets that would last for them for a long time but be soft. These fit the bill. Tight percale weave but softness. The ivory sheets with aqua dream quilt will remind them of the sand and water at the beach,

If you want percales to be wrinkle-free, you must iron them. We have been lucky to live in cities where laundries were available that did "flat work", and I have ironed them myself sometimes. It makes a huge difference to iron them when they are damp, or even to use some spray starch.Age: 55-64
