GARNET HILL CONTEST
No purchase necessary. Open to legal U.S. residents (excluding residents of Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands) who are 18 years of age and older at the time of entry. Children under the age of 18 may submit entries with the permission of their parent or guardian. The parent or guardian assumes all liability for the participation in this promotion. Employees of Garnet Hill, Inc., (“Garnet Hill”), Sugartown Worldwide, Inc., their parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising or promotional agencies and members of their families are not eligible to participate. Entry constitutes permission to use entrant’s name, voice, likeness or quotes without further permission.
To enter, follow @garnethill and @lillypulitzer on Pinterest and create a board on pinterest.com with at least 6 pins, including 2 items from lillypulitzer.com and 4 items from garnethill.com, including Lilly Pulitzer Home items. The board must be titled “Dream Dorm Room”. When complete, email the link to your board to social@garnethill.com All entries must be received no later than July 27, 2012.
By entering the sweepstakes, entrants agree to be bound by these official rules. Garnet Hill is not responsible for incorrect, faulty or misdirected email transmission or inaccurate entry of information due to human error, technical malfunction of any network, computer or software, or any other cause. Garnet Hill reserves the right to terminate the promotion and award the prize in a random drawing from all eligible entries in the event that the promotion is compromised in any way.
On or about August 1, 2012, the winner will be determined by a panel of Garnet Hill and Lilly Pulitzer judges. The entries will be judged on the following criteria: 1) relevance to theme 2) originality 3) creativity and 4) adherence to contest guidelines. The winner will be notified within five days of determination.

Except where prohibited, entrants agree that all issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforcement of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of entrants and Garnet Hill and its agents shall be governed by and construed exclusively in accordance with the laws of the State of Florida without giving effect to any principles of conflicts of law of any jurisdiction. Entrant agrees that any action at law or in equity arising out of or relating to this sweepstakes, or awarding of the prizes, shall be filed only in the state or federal courts located in the State of Florida and entrant hereby consents and submits to the personal jurisdiction of such courts for the purpose of litigating any such action. Except where prohibited, by participating in this sweepstakes, entrant agrees that: (a) any and all disputes, claims, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes, or awarding of the prizes, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (b) any and all claims, judgments and awards shall be limited to actual out-of-pocket costs incurred, including costs associated with participating in the sweepstakes but in no event attorneys’ fees; and (c) under no circumstances will any entrant be permitted to obtain awards for, and entrant hereby waives all rights to claim, punitive, incidental and consequential damages and any other damages other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses, and any and all rights to have damages multiplied or otherwise increased. Such jurisdictions do not allow the limitations or exclusion of liability for incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries. The retail value of the prize is approximately $1,502. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winner. Void where prohibited. Should the winner be unable to be contacted within 5 days of the date the winner is determined or is ineligible, an alternate winner may or may not be selected. All applicable federal, state and local laws apply. All sweepstakes determinations will be made by Garnet Hill and will be final.
