Signature Merino Cardigan 4.5 5 1078 1078
love it at sale price was surprised at merino wool being rather flimsy material not at all what I expected. However,at sale price 1/2 off....It was more than worth the cost.Sizing ran true for me and is a nice addition with interesting pattern.Would purchase another at sale price but not at regular price. August 15, 2014
Favorite pattern yet I really like these cardigans. I have at least 10. They are the only wool (non cashmere) tops I can wear next to my skin and I really appreciate having the warmth of wool in a cardigan. They are great for work and travel. I got the palm pattern this year as I love leaf patterns and look good in greens. August 11, 2014
Fresh Pick! I wanted color in my wardrobe and got it with this cute sweater. It fits me perfectly and feels soft and we'll constructed. So I bought second one in another fresh color! August 8, 2014
Very stylish and comfortable fit I purchased one sweater for myself and one for my friend (birthday gift). I love the fit. I like a loose fit in sweaters and the large size is perfect wearing with a blouse. I normally wear a medium (8-10), but I took the advice of the description and other reviews and purchased the large. Lots of compliments on the coral color. August 7, 2014
Love the jade tile! This cardigan in the jade tile is beautiful -- both the pattern and the colors are lovely. I got it during a "sale of the day" thus the price was also right. I look forward to getting more of these soft, versatile sweaters, but am not overly fond of the fall/winter patterns/colors.... August 6, 2014
Great, stylish sweater I love the tropical print on this sweater and it fits perfectly. August 6, 2014

It seems like a fabric that could handle a cold water wash with Woolite.

Answer:
I used to dry clean them but I don't anymore. Put it on the handwash cycle in your washer (or actually hand wash) and let it dry flat after rolling it in a towel to get the water out. Then a quick iron will do the trick.

Answer:
I have owned two of these sweaters. I wash them on the hand-wash cycle in my washing machine, and then give them an extra spin cycle. Then I lay them flat on a towel. I use have used regular detergent and Woolite with equally good results. Another reviewer said Woolite has bleach -- that's an urban myth. Original Fabric Wash does not contain bleach, oils, phosphates, or enzymes. If you're afraid of the color bleeding or becoming dull, dry-cleaning will help protect the color. But I use the delicate cycle or the hand-wash cycle all of my wool and cashmere sweaters with perfect results every time.

Answer:
Woolite contains bleach and thus is not suitable for washing this sweater. I would suggest a simple soap instead, a clear glycerine soap such as Neutrogena.

Answer:
I'd say it's a very dark navy, not quite black although I think it would work fine with black clothing. The (hidden) grosgrain ribbon on the button placket is a dark navy blue and I don't think the designer would have done that unless the background were blue, not black.

Answer:
I own 4 of these Merino wool sweaters. I wash them on a delicate cycle, put them in a dryer for about 10 minutes then iron with a steam iron (on the wrong side). They come out perfectly.

Answer:
Merino wool is the softest wool available. Micron count is the indicator of how soft /fine the fibers are; unfortunately, manufacturers rarely provide this information. Look for words like " fine", "superfine" and "extra fine". These terms apply to the lowest micron count merinos, anywhere from 18 mc - 12 mc.
