Oversized Turtleneck Sweater 4.3 5 132 132
Significantly less roomy than last year I love this sweater, but the downsizing should be noted in the product description. Have been very happy with mediums, but my new sweater is skimpy. I'll exchange it because I love the way it looks on. One weird thing, though, as long as Garnet Hill is making changes: the turtleneck is double fabric; hence, when folded over, it's four times thicker than the rest of the sweater. Since the body of the sweater is on the thin side, my neck is a lot warmer than the rest of me. Maybe a double fold would be enough. September 25, 2014
Amazing sweater, very soft & cozy but not too heavy for Fall and I plan on layering with a long T in the winter as the fit is very roomy. I wear 16/18 but like the XL which is a very roomy fit but falls nicely for the current oversize look in style now. September 22, 2014
Ordered 3! I initially purchased this top in the teal in a small. It arrived and I loved it, but felt that it may be a bit large on my 5'4, 135 lb. frame. It was like being wrapped in a wonderful blanket. I exchanged for the XS and feel that was a wise decision in terms of overall fit. I have since ordered the brown and the plum. Love them all. I wear them with leggings and boots and feel very stylish. Easy to accessorize and so comfortable to wear. Some have noted that it's shapeless, but I don't agree. I think it is a very chic look, the fabric is fabulous and I highly recommend it for anyone's closet. BTW, I am very large chested (32E) and while this sweater is swingy it does not make me feel like I am in maternity wear, which can sometimes be a problem for the well-endowed. At the sale price, it is a fantastic bargain! February 6, 2014
Favorite Sweater I just wish I had ordered more! Feels great. It is oversized so I ordered a smaller size. I love this sweater! February 6, 2014
Cozy, Comfy & Stylish I love this Sweater! I initially purchased the plum color which matches perfectly with my Eileen Fisher Down Vest in Raisonette. I came back for two more colors when it went on sale. It looks great with the Eileen Fisher ponte skinny pants and booties. I am 5'8", 135 lbs. and the XS fits perfectly. I like the length, which looks trendy and stylish on a woman my age. The merino/cashmere blend feels soft and yummy with minimal itch. February 5, 2014
Very Cool Sweater I bought one this year in teal after getting one last year in coffee bean. I love it even more! The cut should be the same, but the teal looks a liltle better, even. I think it's a tiny bit shorter. It's a really beautiful color. February 5, 2014

There is a slight difference between the 2012 and 2013 version. The chest and sweep are now 2” smaller.

I always thought I was allergic to wool because it really used to make me itch without something under it. Cashmere does not do this to me. Does anyone else have a problem with merino wool or has it caused reddened skin or felt bad in any way? Thanks kindly.

I usually wear L or XL but wound up needing a Small in the Oversized Boxy Sweater based on the measurements. Would buy small here as well but am worried about the sleeves possibly being too tight. Thoughts?

Answer:
The sleeves are snug but not tight. We do not feel the sleeves will be too tight for you even by ordering down in size.
