Modern Cropped Chinos 3.4 5 21 21
Heed advice that this runs slim For perspective: I normally wear a 2P, and the 2 regular fit nearly perfectly. Although I'm short I have a long-inseam (29.5), so these hit at the correct spot on the shin. (Any shorter, and it'd be clam-digger territory.) The fabric is a little bit stiffer/heavier than what I'd normally want in a summer chino but the upside seems to be no bagging/sagging over the course of the day. I purchased lemongrass, which looks great with navy, black or crisp white. A casual but sophisticated look. August 31, 2014
love these i ordered a 4 and they were just a little snug. not so much that i should have ordered a 6, but if you are in between, you might want to go up a size. Cant wait to wear them? August 22, 2014
sizing out of whack I am consistently a size four and these were WAY too snug and the rise too low. Very stiff fabric, too. Sending back August 15, 2014
3-season pants I love the green color and the overall look works well for me. However, the rise is just a little short for me in a 6, my usual size. If not for that, I could probably take a 4 in these pants, as they are somewhat loose in the legs. As is always the case on my 5'1" frame, the capris actually hit my ankles, but this was what I was hoping for. Overall, they are attractive and a nice, 3-season weight, and fit well enough for me to keep them. July 14, 2014
Chino pants fit well. I like the feel and fit of these pants. I especailly like the color as well as the natural fibers next to my skin. July 7, 2014
too baggy not same as skinny pants as shown in the ad, the material is very stiff, shape is too baggy June 18, 2014

My measurements fall in line with what is listed for a size 6 in these pants, except my "waist" (where I think they're measuring for this fit measures 32.5. I've never ordered your pants before, but wear a size small in your dresses and usually wear an 8 in pants. I am 5' 8" and 143 pounds, and don't like my pants too baggy. Can you tell me, based on how these fit, what size I should order? Thanks!

Answer:
The waist is the same for both items. The hip is about an inch smaller in the pants than the shorts. Please click on the measurements tabs to see the garment measurements to compare and help decide which will work best for you.
