Bohemian and always interesting, Chan Luu brings international flair to her distinctive style, perfecting the art of layering.
Originally from Vietnam, Chan Luu moved to Boston and later earned a degree at the Fashion Institute of Design in Los Angeles. After owning a successful clothing and accessories boutique, she followed her passion for design and launched her own jewelry collection, followed by a clothing line in 2004.
Garnet Hill's collaboration with Chan Luu began with her jewelry line. Her modern, ethnic sensibility and artisan skill combine hand-cut semiprecious gemstones, beads, and lustrous freshwater pearls to create a look that has often been defined as global chic. We have recently expanded our Chan Luu collection to include key apparel pieces that capture significant urban trends with artistic embellishment.
"You bring out your own personality in how you accessorize yourself," says Luu, often referred to as the Queen of Layering.
