Hanro Cotton Sensation Soft-Cup Bra 3.6 5 16 16
sjs I have been wearing Hanro cotton underpant briefs for quite a few years. This is the first time I tried the bra. It is comfortable, well fitting to my size (38C) and although I haven't yet washed it I assume it will fare as well as the briefs. I will add that ifi it doesn't I can count on Garnet Hill to accept a return. July 1, 2015
not for full-figured gals this bra is probably perfect for a small frame. if you are used to a three-hook closure, you will find it lacking in support. November 16, 2012
Great everyday bra This is my gardening, hiking, cleaning bra. So comfortable. Been wearing for years October 15, 2012
Scratchy Thread Under Band I have always loved Hanro bras and found them to be extremely soft and comfortable. They are worth the extra cost, and they really last. But clearly something has changed with their quality control. Like the previous reviewers, I found that the seams under the band were rough and scratchy, making the bras (which are otherwise perfect) intolerable to wear. I thought maybe they would soften after being worn a bit, but no--this is a permanent issue. Please fix this Hanro! October 14, 2012
Not as comfy as it looks Hanro is always quality, but this fit was off for me. The side panels and back clasp are narrow, and for me, a wider panel was needed to feel "supported" with a soft cup bra like this. Though the photo looks like the straps are wide, they are not. With the narrow side and back clasp area, most of your support is coming from the straps. The shoulder and back strap is thin, non-cotton adjustable strap that felt stiff. Garnet Hill should also show a photo of the BACK of this bra. Despite the style, it is not that comfy, and def. not a "stretchy" bra. I normally wear a 36C-cup in underwire, and ordered a 36B-cup, which was fine, and even a little roomy. October 13, 2012
Less comfortable than I expected The inside of the bottom band is rough and scratchy in the back. June 20, 2012

Answer:
No, this bra is not a pull-over. It does have a hook closure. The back is a standard construction and not a racer back.

Answer:
There are no hooks, etc. you have to slip it over your head or step into it and pull it up. There are the usual slider adjusters on the straps, but they do not hold tightly, I will be adjusting mine and then making a few stitches to hold in place.

Many websites now have extensive listings on bras that are this expensive. These descriptions answer questions such as:

What is the fabric content, are the cups molded, padded, or free from both, is there elastic and if so, is it covered for latex-sensitive women, are there stays, wires, etc anywhere in the product, etc.

Also, since the previous questions were written in 2012, has the response supplied at that time been updated?.

Thank you.

Answer:
I've never heard of a "scratchy thread" but I must've been awful. Hanro, in my past 20 years since being introduced to them by a saleswoman who kept saying, "Just try it once and you'll see." Apparently it wasn't the lemon you received. I've never NOT been impressed with their products, quality, incredible longevity and fabrics. Everyone is exposed to an occasional "lemon", dear, and I my opinion that is exactly what happened to you. I'm sorry. Please don't give up. Do an exchange or something. I promise you'll be happy with them. There's no one quite like them ! Chin up, shoulders back, now go ahead & get yourself set. I'm excited for you!
