Nice Skirt, but Fit and Length Odd for Me I liked the fabric and feel of this skirt. The top of the skirt was very flattering, including the belly area, as another reviewer mentioned. However, the flowy pleats at the bottom coupled with the length (just below my knee) was not flattering. It wasn't a horrible look, but it didn't "do" anything for me, as my mother would say. I am very curvy and hour-glass shaped, so the skirt had a rectangle effect. I think it would be lovely on someone much taller than I (5'4") and/or someone whose figure can wear flowy fabric around the knees well. The skirt may also be fun if shorter and cut above the knee. Dressy or casual This skirt works well dressed up and is comfy enough to wear around the house. I will be wearing this with sandals and a tee this summer. I am 5-3 120lbs and the small fit well. March 13, 2013

why does this skirt have such good reviews? The fabric is really really thin and it's an awkward below the knee/mid-calf length (for reference, I'm 5'5'' and got a small). It just doesn't cut it for me. March 12, 2013

Great skirt This skirt is flattering, versatile, and comfortable. As is usually the case, Garnet Hill comes through with stylish value. I was hesitant to buy this skirt at first because I wasn't sure if the fabric would be too clingy, accentuating my belly. Not so, it hangs beautifully and feels so nice on. A really good value. garnet hill rocks I've bought several dresses and skirts from Garnet hill and I am very impressed with the quality. The prices are a bit high on some items but it is worth it. This skirt is fabulous and different, the only thing about it though I had to iron it, but that was not a problem for me. It fits well to the size. Great skirt March 2, 2013

fun to wear flouncy skirt I like to wear skirts on the hot hot days in the Los Angeles Spring and Summer. This flouncy, fun to wear skirt, with a clever gored cut, looks great with the Garnet Hill asymmetrical Tee, or just about any cardigan. One caveat; it came wrinkled and it stays wrinkled. I steamed it out, but with one days wearing, it was wrinkly again. I don't mind wrinkles, but if you don't , you won't like this cute, flattering skirt. Also, I prefer to wear it with a short half slip. February 27, 2013
