Not for wide feet and short toes! I have been looking forward to owning a pair of Gentle Souls footwear and patiently waited for the back ordered Upon-a-Star Gladiator Sandals to ship. Disappointingly, they are not quite wide enough for my foot. I would have been willing to break them in, but I also found the thong section very uncomfortable and the toe section too long for my foot. The leather sole is very firm and the cushioning was not sufficient to make this a comfortable sandal. It is a beautiful sandal - I'm glad to see that it works for others.
