Garnet Hill Signature Primaloft® Comforter 3 5 1 1
Disappointed I bought this comforter after researching how down is collected and wanted a cruelty free alternative. I was happy to see Garnet Hill had one. I could tell the quality was good and I especially liked the tabs to tie the duvet cover to. Sadly, it is not warm enough for me even for the LA winter. My room is around 60 degrees at night and I needed a thick blanket also. The actual duvet itself was cold to the touch and didn't seem to circulate the warmth. It was a little noisy too. Sadly, had to return it. February 11, 2014

Answer:
The thread count is the total number of threads running in both directions per square inch in a woven fabric. This refers to the shell of the comforter and does not play a role is the weight of the comforter. Please contact customer service via Live Chat or phone for further product information. We are here in customer service between the hours of 8 am and 10 pm (ET) daily.

We are looking for a lightweight comforter with smaller baffles. We live into the south and do not need a heavy bulky comforter.
