Rated 4.3 out of 5 by 6 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by thin but warm I have a very thin "puffy" coat that has kept me warm through some bitter Chicago winters. My daughter has always envied mine, never liking the bulk of her down coats. This fit the bill and kept her warm all winter long. It seems improbably thin, but even on the coldest days she was warm and comfortable. As for the thin-seeming shell, we had no trouble with pulling. It will last her next year as well! April 20, 2016
Rated 5 out of 5 by Daughter Loves It My daughter loves her new coat. Lightweight, reversible, covers her rear, and has a hood that stays put once it's up thanks to the elastic in the edge. November 29, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fall coat This coat meets all of our expectations for a fall/spring coat for our girls. It is light weight, warm and adorable (not bulky). We have all four seasons with very cold winters and this coat will take us into the snow season. Great look for school! October 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Girls Reversible Down Coat My daughter loves her new jacket! It is light weight and not bulky so she can use it for school and for more special occasions. It hasn't been cold enough to test the warmth, but we think it will work out just fine. September 10, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by too thin It is so cute and the fit is lovely and strsmline but it just seems like there is nothing there. It is so thin it is hard to magine it is going to keep my child warm during the winter without layering a lot underneath. I wasn't willing to keep it to find out. Bit annoying having to return and pay shipping for a disappointing product. December 10, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Beautiful but THIN! In terms of looks this coat doesn't disappoint. The colors are just as vibrant and pretty as they appear onscreen, and the reversible aspect is great too. But if you live somewhere with serious winters like New England or Minnesota, this wouldn't even come close to keeping your kids warm enough. They would need thick layers underneath, and for the price, I didn't think this was worth it. The outer shell also felt very thin, like the slightest little thing could cause it to snag. I so wish companies would stop using paper thin materials for clothing. October 2, 2015

I'm not sure if this coat will be warm enough for a New England winter.

Answer:
There is no universal standard for outerwear
temperature ratings. Some retailers do create
their own rating systems, but we do not. However,
our outerwear is "field tested" by real kids in
cold NH winters, on playgrounds and ski slopes, to
ensure that it's warm and durable!
