Rated 4 out of 5 by Essential Down Comforter I purchased 2 twin essential down comforters for our mountain cabin. Am hoping they will be warm enough, they seem just a little thin. November 14, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great! Great in every way: weight, warmth, finish and color. It also launders beautifully. October 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great color, great price, great quality bought the alternative down comforter. Color was true to on-line photo- got the aqua blue, very pretty, good weight not a very heavy comforter so we still use a blanket underneath for more warmth(we live in Maine), ordered a king size for our queen size bed so it would hang over sides of bed and it definitely is plenty big. Rated 5 out of 5 by Perfect Comforter for a variety of seasons! Love this comforter so much, we have several of them in different sizes! Kids love them too! Be sure to read the fine print, though, as not all styles of the essential comforter come with the duvet ties inside. October 8, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Great I bought the Dune color- it is more of a tan color but it very nice for my son's dorm room. Not to hot and very soft. Love it! July 28, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Purchased several Great product, light weight. Have several and purchases as gifts. Everyone loves this comforter July 17, 2015

Answer:
I have washed mine with great results. I recommend using a mild detergent such as Woolite. I have a 4.0 cu.ft front load washer. Also I use dryer balls or tennis balls in the dryer to keep the down fluffed up and dry it at a low heat setting.

An earlier customer asked what the weight of this comforter was. The CS responded that it was filled with 550 power fill. I believe the 'Power' rating refers to the density of the down clusters, not to the actual amount of down that fills this particular size comforter. Could you please answer the question directly about the actual amount (measured in ounces) of down filling in the twin size of this comforter please? thanks.
