Please redesign
This is just the best bag as far as a cute summer, go-with-everything, daily use bag. Too bad it is unraveling like a cartoon sweater. Please redesign this with a more substantial weave or quality of straw. The lining is great, the handle is strong but (as one reviewer noted accurately) very scratchy on bare shoulders. I am very sad to send this back, but for the money it should be of better quality...

Beautiful Purse But.....
I purchased this purse early 2013 and I love it! It is beautiful. However, it has already frayed on the handle. It is a bit pricey for it to tear apart so soon. I am going to take it to a crafts person and see if they can redo the handle. Disappointing for such a gorgeous piece.

Love this bag!
I bought this bag a year ago with the inspiration to use it while I was on a beach vacation. I got so many compliments on it. The trouble was I though the handle was strong enough for anything, and it is not. But, Garnet Hill gladly returned it for a new one. I am so glad because I think this bag is soooo cute. It requires some handle with care but is a wonderfully cute handbag.

Versatile Summer Bag
The bag is great. It is well designed and constructed. My only surprise was the color. It was called cement so I thought it was a grey tone. The picture on the website looked grey. It is really a medium brown.

Love this bag!
I have had only good results with this bag. It's strong, big enough, color (cement) is perfect, and I've received lots of compliments. It's become my everyday bag, so it gets knocked around a lot, but it stands up well, I think. No wear and tear yet, and I've had it many weeks now. I'm thinking of getting another one as a reserve, since the pattern and color and resiliance in this type bag I haven't seen before, plus it's summer where I live about 5 months out of the year, so this bag is constantly in use.

Pretty but flimsy
This bag looked so nice in the photo, and it was rather expensive but seemed to be exactly what I was looking for, so I decided to treat myself. When it arrived I was really disappointed...it is very lightweight and loosely woven, and was actually starting to unravel in a few places. Sadly, I sent it back.

It is lined with a cotton liner. I have the lighter bag and the liner is a light color, similar to the color of the bag. The strap is not lined and it is scratchy.Age: 35-44
