The shirt is very nice quality and cute with the ruffled neck, however it does run small and after one wash it shrunk even smaller. I ordered Medium for my 7yr old should have ordered the Large. I would advise to let this air dry instead of dryer machine.

I have to be the voice of dissent. I do not find this top to be too small at all. It fits my average size daughter perfectly. She is 2 months away from being 7 and I have her in the 6-7 and it will fit her for the next 9 mos to a year at least. It looks great. I really love it and plan on ordering more!

I bought this for my 11 year old. I decided the get an XL (12-14) because she usually wears a 12. I figured if was a little big we might get 2 summers out of it.
Well, I will be lucky to get spring out of it, if not one wear (who knows what will happen after I was it!).

super girly yet runs small

This darling ruffled tank is lovely yet it runs VERY small.
I purchased the extra large hoping to give it to my average sized 11 year old, but upon receiving it, realized it will most likely have to go to my 9 year old after its first washing. The fabric is super soft and my daughters love the tissue-weight simplicity of it. The placement of the ruffles ensures modesty and the ruffles themselves are feminine yet restrained.
