Favorite Maxi Knit Skirt 4.8 5 98 98
Can't wait for snow to melt to wear this! This will be my go-to piece for spring. Cording is unique. Just the right fullness. May buy a second color. Comfy. Bit of a hippie vibe--but more polished. March 15, 2015
love it comfortable, fits perfect, love the pockets and gather at the bottom! March 12, 2015
great skirt Based on all reviews I ordered this in M (I am usually between an M and L and usually order one size bigger). This skirt is comfortable and very flattering. As soon as these go on sale I will buy another. Great skirt for casual or dressy. March 11, 2015
Buy 2 sizes smaller! This is the coolest skirt ever. I am on the shorter side (5'4") so I usually stick with tapered maxi skirts but this one is surprisingly flattering. I am a classic "medium" and ordered this in a small per the other reviews. It was still too big, so I ordered an XS and is perfect! Enjoy. March 11, 2015
Gorgeous skirt I haven't worn this yet because it's still not yet skirt season in the northeast but I'm very excited to wear it if it ever warms up! It's just as gorgeous as it is in the picture and does run a bit large - I usually wear a small and got this in the XS and it's perfect. March 9, 2015
Perfect I agree with everyone this skirt is fabulous. Very comfortable, falls nicely. Not too much poof even though it looks full in the photo. Bought the castlerock color and would love another if they go on sale. The length is good for me but I can see it being short on someone else my height 5' 5" . I have a long torso and shorter legs so it works for me. Length is to ankles. Bought an XS, which is my usual GH size, but actually probably could have gotten the S since it has a banded waist that hugs close to body. For reference 124 lbs. March 9, 2015

The hip measurements are only 2 inches larger than the waist measurements for each size. That must be a misprint. Where is this item made? Any possibility of it being offered in petite sizes? 38 1/2 inches is much too long for me.

Answer:
The waist is a relaxed measurement taken at the opening and the hip is a high hip measurement taken along the waistband seam. It is made in China. Sorry, we do not offer in a petite at this time.

Sizing

Does this run small? The listed measurements look on the small side.
It seems like it would be very clingy on the hips, since the hip measurement is only 2" larger than the waist and it doesn't appear clingy in the picture.
Thanks!

Is it simply a matter of cutting and turning the hem under to stitch?

No, it would not be easy to hem as it has cording on the edges.

Very long legs

I am 5'10, I usually wear jeans size 27/37. So I have very longs legs and a short torso. Will the skirt be a good length or will it sit awkwardly by my ankles?
