Favorite Maxi Knit Skirt - Regular is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 461.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great travel skirt I am 5-3" 118lbs with athletic build. Size PP(0-2) fits me perfectly. The fabric and double layer is very nice, not see thru. It's a casual comfortable skirt that is great for travel. It's not too frumpy. I just took it on a trip and didn't notice any wrinkles. The length is perfect and the fold over waistband allows you to adjust the length a little. I also found that the fabric doesn't attract lint or dog hair much. Its my new favorite!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great traveling skirt! A little pricey but perfect for everything (bought on sale which helped:) I wanted one in every color but had to limit to mushroom and castle rock. went with the petite as the regular, although a beautiful length, got tangled up with my feet on my practice run around the house. Colors are great neutrals and go with a lot of my clothes. Can't go wrong! You will love it!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Another 5 Star Rating This skirt is lovely! I love the full, swishing length of it that the gentle gathers at the bottom hem pull in to keep it from being bulky or cumbersome. The lining prevents the skirt from being clingy or sheer. The pockets are sturdy and generously sized. The first day that I wore the skirt I got two compliments about how pretty it was and I have to admit, I felt quite well-dressed wearing it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Boho comfort I love everything about this skirt. The pockets are actually useful. The skirt is a good length. The lining doesn't cling or get in the way. In fact, I liked it so much I ordered it in another color! If you are reading Garnet Hill, perhaps a few summer colors would be a good idea? Buttercup, Coral, Tangerine? You might get me to order it a third time if there were such colors!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Had My Doubts I had my doubts that this Maxi skirt would look attractive on me. I'm retired and live in a beach community so thought I'd take a chance on this stylish, casual look. I. LOVE. IT! It came quite wrinkled but once pressed, haven't had a problem. I ended up buying 2 because they are so versatile. The material is lightweight but the lining prevents show-thru. I'm very happy with this skirt(s). I highly suggest the Boxy T to go with it. A wonderful combination.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Amazing skirt! Truly fabulous skirt. I was concerned about sizing but I got a large petite in the platinum color which is a light grey. I normally buy 16 in pants or skirts and I'm 5'4". Fit perfectly. Now I want every color. Thanks Garnet Hill for designing such an awesome skirt!!!!

I'm not sure what to trust for sizing...True Fit says S, but reviews lead me to believe the XS might be best for my 5'4"/128 lbs frame.

If you fold over the waistband does that make it appear bulky when wearing a closer fitting tank top or t-shirt?
Asked by: Badsoden
Thank you for this question! This is exactly my height and weight and I never know whether to purchase xs or sm with Garnet Hill ... I agree that the sizing is off for Garnet Hill. Small is almost always too large for me (5'4" and 128).

I am 5’2”, about 125 lbs - with hips. Will this skirt be too long? I want to love it, but it looks like a better style for taller women.

If you are petite I’d appreciate knowing how this skirt works for you.

In case you hadn't noticed, they now offer this skirt in a petite size. Hope this works for you!

How can the measurements listed for this item be correct?

The hip measurements are only 2 inches larger than the waist measurements for each size. That must be a misprint. Where is this item made? Any possibility of it being offered in petite sizes? 38 1/2 inches is much too long for me.
Asked by: Peggyy
The waist is a relaxed measurement taken at the opening and the hip is a high hip measurement taken along the waistband seam. It is made in China. Sorry, we do not offer in a petite at this time.

I am 5'2" so I know this skirt will be too long. How easy is it to hem?

Is it simply a matter of cutting and turning the hem under to stitch?
Asked by: Purple10
I'm 5'1" and surpisingly it is not too long.
