Favorite Maxi Knit Skirt - Regular is rated 4.7 out of 5 by 379.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from My Favorite Skirt Ever This is my all-time favorite skirt, and I have it in 3 colors. It is so comfortable, I vastly prefer it over pants/capris in warm weather. Looks good with a variety of tops, and best of all, can accommodate a fluctuation of 5 or 10 lbs. I normally wear a size 12 dress (I am bigger on top) and a medium is perfect. You will not be disappointed with this skirt!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautiful Skirt Love this skirt! So comfortable! Can be dressed up or dressed down. Got the light mushroom in a small. I am 5'9, 150 pounds. Fits perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Casual comfy skirt This is really cute. I wasn't sure about the wide waistband at first but I like it. I haven't washed it yet and hope it doesn't shrink!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite maxi skirt indeed This maxi skirt is great for all sizes...although it is flowy and gathered, the fold down waist, scrunched hem and lightweight fabric help to keep the amount of fabric from adding to your silouette. Even though I am only 5'2" tall, this skirt is flattering and comfy in a size small petite.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from 'Go to' Skirt with max versatility I purchased this skirt hoping I would like it! I loved it! It is great for travel, work, church, play, etc. I've dressed it up with a sweater set and boots, casual with a T and denim jacket; plus I have layered for chilly weather and worn it in sunny Florida. I bought one for my mom and one for my daughter. That's versatility! I have two long and two short, my mom has three now! I'm committed to always travel in this skirt, I may need just one more!!!confort and style!!win/win!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A summer uniform I ordered this wonderful skirt at first in Platinum but was unsure of the size. I normally would have ordered a large but the earlier reviews convinced me to go down a size, so I ordered a medium. I am 5'7" and 165 and the medium is perfect. So perfect that I ordered two more when they were featured as the sale of the day. I will be living in these skirts all summer and likely into the fall. They are so comfy and can easily be dressed up or down. Love the pockets and detailing too. And the attached slip, which adds just the right amount of drape and opacity. The stretchy waistband is comfortable and not too tight. You can't go wrong with this Maxi skirt. I can't think of anyone who wouldn't love this skirt!

I'm not sure what to trust for sizing...True Fit says S, but reviews lead me to believe the XS might be best for my 5'4"/128 lbs frame.

If you fold over the waistband does that make it appear bulky when wearing a closer fitting tank top or t-shirt?

Thank you for this question! This is exactly my height and weight and I never know whether to purchase xs or sm with Garnet Hill ... I agree that the sizing is off for Garnet Hill. Small is almost always too large for me (5'4" and 128).

I am 5’2”, about 125 lbs - with hips. Will this skirt be too long? I want to love it, but it looks like a better style for taller women.

If you are petite I’d appreciate knowing how this skirt works for you.

In case you hadn't noticed, they now offer this skirt in a petite size. Hope this works for you!

How can the measurements listed for this item be correct?

The hip measurements are only 2 inches larger than the waist measurements for each size. That must be a misprint. Where is this item made? Any possibility of it being offered in petite sizes? 38 1/2 inches is much too long for me.
Asked by: Peggyy
The waist is a relaxed measurement taken at the opening and the hip is a high hip measurement taken along the waistband seam. It is made in China. Sorry, we do not offer in a petite at this time.

I am 5'2" so I know this skirt will be too long. How easy is it to hem?

Is it simply a matter of cutting and turning the hem under to stitch?
Asked by: Purple10
I'm 5'1" and surpisingly it is not too long.

Two of our favorites with this skirt are the Button-Front Knit Top #33272 and the Cropped Boxy Knit Top #33222.
