Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very nice, crisp fitted sheet This sheet fits our king bed very well with deep pockets, enough to go over the featherbed on top of the mattress. Crisp and cool. Great purchase.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from High Quality Sheets After first buying two German flannel sheet sets from GH for our California King bed, I now purchase all of our bedding from GH. I don't mind paying for quality and quality is what you get from GH. All the sheet sets from GH are well sewn, generous in size, soft and comfortable. They have secured a life long customer in me. Thanks GH!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice, but too big I was so excited to get these sheets as I prefer percale to sateen and was impressed with fabric quality when they arrived. They are perfect EXCEPT that they are way too big for our king-sized mattress. I have had sheets run large before, but these are so oversized that the corners don't fit. I realize our mattress Is only 12 inches thick, but To have the corners hang over about 3 inches is ridiculous. If the corners fit, I could just tuck under the extra depth, but it seems like the sheet is too wide for the bed, no matter how I put them on. They have been washed and line dried. I wil keep them, but will need to alter them, as I prefer an snug bottom sheet. For a quality sheet, this is very frustrating.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice but large This sheet looks and feels great. The fabric is a crisp, smooth percale. It washes beautifully, comes out of the dryer ready to use. My only complaint is the size. I assume that the size given for a king sheet (78"x80") would be from corner seam to corner seam. On this sheet the points of the seams hang way down over the corner of the mattress. There is a lot of sheet to tuck in under the mattress to get a nice smooth surface.

is this sheet a true 100% cotton percale sheet or a pima cotton sheet?

The title says percale while the description says pima-they are not interchange cottons. I am looking for a classic, crisp, cotton percale sheet and I am confused by what this sheet actually is. Please advise. Percale: A smooth, flat, closely woven and combed fabric that comes in 100 percent cotton or 50/50 cotton/poly blends. Finer than muslin, expect thread counts here to range from 180 to 200. Pima or Supima: A high-quality cotton whose long fiber staple is somewhat similar to that of Egyptian cotton. The differences are geographical only. Pima is grown in the southwestern part of the U.S. and Egyptian is grown along the Nile River. Supima is made from extra-long staple Pima. The soft feel of Pima and Supima make them very desirable in bedding. Expect to find thread counts here from 200 to 300.

These sheets are a 300 thread count percale made from 100% Pima Cotton. The hand of this sheet is that of a classic crisp percale as you are looking for. It is slightly heavier than a standard 200 thread count made from regular cotton. “Percale” describes the type of weave, not the type of cotton or fiber.
