Eileen Fisher Washed Linen Cases is rated 4.5 out of 5 by 462.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lux My second purchase of these sheets this year. I have to tell you that you really should wash them a few times first. They get better and better with every wash. I have replaced all of my bedroom sheets with EF linen. We do not have a pillowtop mattress so these are a bit big but I just tuck them in more.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best sheets I ever had! Soft, inviting, comfortable.......can't wait to climb into bed each night! The only reason I gave a 4 star rating to value is that they are expensive......but the quality really is outstanding.....and they are worth the price.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from A must for my luxury I've been using EF linen sheets for a few years and would not be happy with any other fabric for sleeping. It's linen which has it's own special feel. Don't care for the satin type of sheet where you slip all over. These wash well and last a couple years. I've worn out two sets and have two extra sets in my closet for when these wear out. EF makes great colors. I prefer darker for sleeping.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from worth the money The first set of these sheets were given to me by family members for my birthday--in pieces, because I really wanted to see if they lived up to the customer feedback. And frankly, I thought they were too expensive to buy outright. My first set taught me: these are the only sheets I ever want to use. So now I've gone and bought another set. They are worth the expense--in part because they are unbelievably comfortable in all seasons, but also because they are durable and get softer with age. I have two sets that I rotate now, and I am hoping they will last a long time.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love Eileen Fisher linen sheets My husband and I have been sleeping on these (ombré ) linen sheets for about a year. We love them, rave about them, and our 28 yr old son took notice. He wanted some, so I ordered the dark gray ones for his birthday. I can't wait to surprise him with them!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best Linen pillowcases! I love Eileen Fishers linen line and also have a previous sheet set purchase. My recent pillowcase purchase was to highlight my new gray upholstered bed. They are soft with that lived in feel for which Fishers collection is known. Not cheap but I think they will bear the test of time!

Has anybody tried washing these in hot water? Did they hold up?

I like to wash sheets in hot water and dry on hot setting because of my dust mite allergy. Would love to try these but they are too expensive for me to experiment with!
Asked by: sarahliz
I've washed in warm and dried on high with no problem.

It says do not bleach. What if you get the pure white?

I have kids and pets... I kind of like the earthenware, but would get the pure white if I can bleach it.
Asked by: Lilshopper
I read on another site that only sells linen sheets etc that Oxi-Clean will work with the white. I've been using it on my white EF linen sheets and all other whites for over a year and it works well. Does not yellow the fabric as bleach does.

The color Rye

Can customer service and hopefully customers who purchased the Rye color- please clarify how this color comes across? I see it, online, as a dark, stone Grey. I hear it has "brown undertones", but I can't imagine Grey- with brown, influencing the color. Any additional information would be greatly appreciated. Thanks much-
Asked by: Alycat
The rye color is a warm rich grey with a brown hue, rather than a faded or cool grey. It's in the same tonal range as charcoal but in some light it leans towards a brown - maroon/purple tones -but mostly it reads dark grey. It's a beautiful color. I hope this helps.

Is the color "Earthenware" a true gray or is it taupe (brown-gray)?

Asked by: LinenGirl1
In my opinion, "Earthenware" has a very slight Olive Green hue set inside a Taupe, Brown Gray Color.

What is the longevity of 100% linen sheets vs 100% cotton, if washed weekly? How long do they last?

Asked by: carolly123
Linen and Cotton sheets should have about the same lifetime when cared for in the same fashion. However, there are many variables to be considered when trying to discern what a reasonable expectation of longevity would be, from water quality, detergent type, laundering method, frequency of usage, etc.
