Eileen Fisher Viscose Jersey Three-Quarter-Sleeve V-Neck Dress - Regular is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 100.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Skims, flatters This dress is a real winner. Easily dressed up or down, just like other reviewers have said. The fabric, while thin, seems to skim the figure rather than clinging where you wish it wouldn't. The flow of the dress is very nice, and the cut overall is very, very flattering. I'm an apple shape, and the v-neck and knee length are great for me. With a strategic jacket, it will hide a multitude of sins. I got the light blue and it is just gorgeous - exactly as pictured. Even on sale a little pricey. . .but I am hoping to get good long use from it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Fabulous dress This is my first Eileen Fisher purchase and I am so happy with it. This dress drapes beautifully and shows my figure, but doesn't showcase the bumps and bulges I don't want seen. I absolutely love it and am mad at myself that I didn't purchase all three colors when it was on sale! I am 5'3" 130 lb and a 34D and the small fits nicely.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great for travel Wonderful timeless classic that packs and washes well! Love the 3/4 sleeves and the v-neck. I am 5' 4", 110# and got the regular XS and it fits perfectly, the fabric is stretchy and soft but not too clingy. Nice quality and value.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Versatile Dress I bought this dress in black to take on a Mediterranean cruise last year. I loved it so much, that I just purchased the other two colors - ash and blue. I am 5'10 and 150 lbs. The medium-regular fits great. The length is perfect, too--hits right above the knee on me--exactly as shown on the model in the photo. It's slightly boxy in the mid-section, but it hangs well. It's so comfortable and flattering. It's a wardrobe staple for sure.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Classic Dress I ordered this dress in black and absolutely loved the way it fit, the fabric and the style. I immediately ordered a second one in Ash. I will take both of them on my Mediterranean cruise this Fall!

Sizing Accurate?

Does Eileen Fisher run larger than most other designers? The True Fit is recommending a size XXS. In most designers I'm a size 2/XS, so it makes me apprehensive to order the XXS, which I generally associate with size 0. (I'm 5'5", 115 lb, athletic build.)
Asked by: MHLA
Eileen Fisher does have a generous fit. We would recommend using the Measurements tab, which has the garment measurements, to help determine which size will fit best for you.

I ordered a small because I'm a size 6/8, but my bust is a 36.5, should I have sized up?

Asked by: Zany
The dress in the S(8-10) has a chest of 36 1/2". While some reviewers advise that they find this dress to run more true to size than generous (Eileen Fisher is known to size somewhat generously), we don't think you would need to go up to the M(10-12) when usually a 6-8. It sounds like you ordered the right size.

Asked by: Marjory
This dress is running true to size to slightly generous. The length in the PM is 35 1/8" and the L is 35 3/4". Please note that the garment measurements are available on the site under the item description under "Measurements".

How much larger is the Regular Small, and the Regular XS, than the Petite Small for this dress?

I ordered and received the Petite Small. Consistent with other reviewers' comments, the dress definitely runs smaller than most Eileen Fisher clothes, and I think it is perhaps a little too small for me in the bust and hips, especially if it shrinks at all, as rayon tends to do. I see that the measurements information indicates that the Regular XS is 1/2' larger in the bust than the PS, though there is no information provided at all about waist and hip measurements, just that it is longer and wider at the hem. The Regular S is 2" larger in the bust than the PS, which is a lot larger, and is even longer and wider at the hem. I am trying to figure out whether the Regular XS or Regular S might fit me better, or whether I am just between sizes in this dress. I do not normally wear Petites, but ordered this one because I wanted the shorter length and the length of the PS is perfect.

We do not typically have waist measurements and hip measurements for this type of cut. However, you can expect that the waist and hip will be equally larger per size up as the chest is (ex PM is 2" larger in the chest than PS, so the waist and hip will increase correspondingly). In this type of instance, we would recommend choosing between petite and regular sizing based on the length you desire, and if you are finding the dress too snug, going up one size. While 2" does seem like a significant difference in measurements, when considering the entire circumference of the garment, its not as much as it sounds. We hope this helps!
