Eileen Fisher Viscose Jersey Harem Pants - Regular 5 5 5 5
Comfortable and so adorable I wanted the harem pants for some time, but was not sure the style would work for me. They are perfect. The fit is loose and forgiving, the flowing fabric can be dressed up or down. I wear them with flip flops, heels, boots and lace up shoes. Any top, long or cropped will work. Easy to take care of, fun and lightweight for travel. I am 5' 21/2" and 110 pounds, the XS petite is an excellent fit. Don't wait to order these you will not be sorry. February 13, 2014
comfortable and chic kinda between a skirt and a pant. silky jersey material isn't anything special but the drape and fit is nice. runs slightly large and if you have slim legs you will have to pull the cuffs farther up your leg to get a blowsy look. looks great with knit tops that are slightly cropped. for reference i am 5'5" and 160 lbs. ordered a medium and it fits comfortably. Very Fun Harem Pants I went out on a limb with these pants but they are so fun and comfy. Bought them on the MLK 25% sale - so totally worth taking a chance on them. February 10, 2014
Flattering and Comfortable The best word I can think of is - wow! These are truly a great basic piece to have in my closet. The style is so flattering, elegant, and just a little bit on the edge. So easy to take care of - wash on gentle cycle and then line dry - no wrinkles. One of my favorite ways to wear my harem pants is to wear an EF tank (for a slimming effect) and then a boxy top or sweater over - looks so cute this way. But, almost any top will look great with them. The viscose jersey is a nice weight that is really 4 seasons - the weight allows them to be effortlessly flowing. At 5'3", the XS fits fine - nice length and with the narrow elastic waist band, it just sits a little below my waist. Really cute to also push the leg openings up towards my knees - making a beautiful skirt effect! February 8, 2014
Love these! I have been stalking a price break on these pants since I first saw them on the EF site last year, so when they went on sale last month, I ordered them immediately. They are very easy to wear, surprisingly flattering, a snap to dress up or down and perfect for traveling in all seasons. February 7, 2014

From the picture, it is hard to tell. At 21+ inches, it can't start at the crotch. The product details give no overall length. Is that the space between the two ankle gands? The old version of this pant, which everyone wanted, was unhappily reviewed by taller people. Has this pant been re-engineered for taller people who would love to buy this harem pant?

Answer:
I didn't understand that inseam of 21" either. In the picture, it looks like the top of the inseam is quite close to the bottom of the pant leg, and in fact, that is true. The effect is almost skirt-like. There is a very short, very low inseam. I love this pant! "Inseam" is almost a moot question -- there is barely an inseam!

Answer:
Yes, the 21-1/2" is the measurement of the space betwen the two ankle bands. Perhaps a better measurement for you is the outseam, which is taken from the top of the waistband to the bottom of the ankle band. It ranges from 36.25" to 37.25" depending upon the size.
