This was a huge splurge. But I couldn't find anything to work with our gray, cream and white bathroom. This shower curtain is just so beautiful and it tied together the room. The fabric is a beautifully woven ikat. Our bathroom is small, so it's filmy weight makes the room seem larger. I hate that it cost so much. (Shhhh! Don't tell my husband!) But I highly recommend it!

Light and Lovely

I bought this in white. It is quite sheer- not opaque linen. It does not have metal grommets - the buttonholes at the top are reinforced by fabric tabs. It is sized for standard bathtub.. It is exactly what I was looking for - a little more than I would have normally spent for a shower curtain but it was lightweight and most of the ones I've seen (and have) are heavier. So I am pleased with this. Appearance is delicate. I cannot say right now how it will wear - time will tell.

The Eileen Fisher linen shower curtain was a bit pricely and I shopped around and considered many other curtains before ordering. I am very pleased with the shower curtain which I ordered in white. It is well made and presents as crisp and modern. Most importantly it looks like an expensive shower curtain should. The material would work well with any decor. It is understated and classy and does not monopolize the room. I am very pleased. P.S. It was delivered sooner then expected - an added bonus.

Great Curtain, but Note on Color

The shower curtain is pretty, sophisiticated, and a good weight. I ordered the clay, expecting the color to be in the black family. It works with my new bathroom, but it is brown, not the charcoal color I thought I saw in the pictures.

Will this curtain work with regular metal shower curtain hooks? In the pix it is hung with individual ties, and I definitely don't want to do that. But I can't tell from the pix if the "buttonholes" would be big enough for regular hooks, or if they would look weird on this curtain. Thanks for your help. A bigger photo would help.
