Eileen Fisher Rippled Cotton Coverlet 4.7 5 207 207
Perfect! This coverlet is--really--perfect. Very pretty design. Generous in size. Great texture in fabric. Just the right amount of warmth. AND--it stays put on the bed so you are not tugging on covers. I think it is a wonderful buy for the money. November 13, 2014
great bed topper love it, I ordered in oyster gray, but the color was a little too oystery for our room so sent it back and am getting the sea salt. Definitely a quality item, and if it ever warms up ha ha I will remove our down comforter and duvet and this summer just use this coverlet. You can count on Eileen Fisher quality November 13, 2014
Want more colors! I have owned the coverlet in sea salt for my king size bed for several years and I love it! I would like to purchase twin coverlets in persimmon but missed my chance. Will you bring this back? Please! November 7, 2014
Luxurious I bought it as a cover for the bed or a quilt to curl up under. It's soft and just the right weight. It's expensive, but only time will tell if it's worth it! October 14, 2014
Wonderful and Fabulous I purchased this coverlet in white about a year ago. For summer it has been perfect with the Eileen Fisher linen sheets. In winter it goes over the comforter. It has held up over many washings the past year and still looks new. I am very satisfied and would purchase this again. September 27, 2014
Wow. Just wow. Way thicker than I thought the word Coverlet meant. Coverlet sounds kinda wimpy. Don't be fooled. Alaskan's will enjoy this. Or anywhere there's a polar vortex, you know? September 22, 2014

Personally, I do feel that the twin size would be too large for a throw on a couch.

Its hard to tell from the reviews as many of them comment on the surprising warmth - t I'm looking for a late spring/summer weight coverlet/blanket - no central air conditioning! Thanks.

Answer:
I do think it would be too warm for use in a NYC summer. You'd definitely have to "kick it off" on a hot night with no A/C. The material is heavier than I thought it would be, which was perfect for me since I do have A/C, but I think it might be too much for you.

Yes, just barely. I have a smaller Bosch vertical washer and its crowded,
but just makes it!
I do put it on "extended was" and "extra rinse" tho!

Personally I like the Filigree Sham, #24640, in the dark camel with this oat colored coverlet. The linen collection does not coordinate as nicely in my opinion.

I am looking at the Oat colored coverlet. Would a king size fit a california king bed and which shams and sizes would you put with this coverlet. Standard or continental. I have been looking at the filigree shams in carmel as suggested in previous question. How soft are these?

I would agree with Denise that the Filigree Sham, #24640, in the dark camel with this oat colored coverlet would work best. There are other options in the "May We Suggest" box at the bottom of the item page as well. Does anyone else have any ideas?
