Yes, these towels are a bit pricey - but worth every penny. I prefer white towels - and these are the absolute BEST at remaining white and looking fresh. I find them quick to absorb water (those that are saying they are not absorbent - are you using fabric softener in your wash?) ; and the bath sheet is soft and easy to wrap around my body. A thicker 'Turkish' towel might seem more luxurious - but they lose their look (graying) and take forever to dry after use. Eileen Fisher - every thing she produces is top notch!

This organic towel line was one of my favorites. Yet I now agree with other reviews which express disappointment that the quality has really gone down; i've noticed that they now are made in Portugal and not Turkey. Somehow the cotton used is not nearly as soft, and they don't absorb moisture well. This is the first time I've ever been disappointed in an Eileen Fisher product's quality. I hope it is not a trend. Garnet Hill, these are not up to your usual high quality standards.

These towels are beautiful. It's a shame they don't work well. They leave your skin feeling wet and the towels feeling wet. I'm very disappointed. I washed them and hung them up in the guest bath and it wasn't until I tried to dry my hands on them that I discovered how poorly they dry. I kept hoping they would improve with time, but they have not! I would love to return them, but it has been several months since I bought them. Do not buy these towels if you want to get dry.

These are beautiful colors and a great weight. I've had for a year- one towel has come unravelled and I don't know if it's just worn or an accident happened in the wash. Regardless, I love them and would purchase again.
