Rated 4.4 out of 5 by 97 reviewers.
Rated 5 out of 5 by absorbent towels These towels are exactly as described by customers. I always liked a towel that dried me quickly and had a bit of roughness to it. That words seems extreme but I fail to think of another description. I love these towels! November 6, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Lovely towels These were just what we wanted. I wanted a lovely color; my husband wanted a bit fo a rubdown. We got both with these. yes, they give up some lint - I have washed them twice - but so do blankets, fleece jackets, and manyohter items. I did stop the dryer part way through and remove the lint the fist time I washed them but the amount of lint after the first time has been reasonable. We both love these towels and love that they dry, when hung up after using, pretty quickly. I would buy more next time I find them on sale. At full price, it would be hard to make the case since we have plenty of towels, just not ones that provide the soft/rough rub down that we both like. November 4, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Fabulous Feel If you like a hearty towel that feels ever so slightly rough on your skin, that absorbs great and looks good then this is it. I have even converted my husband who at first did not think the towels were for him and then had me order more! Don't be shocked with the lint from the dryer, it will lessen and stop. Rated 1 out of 5 by Too Thin! I don't know if it's the addition of the linen that makes these some of the least pleasurable towels I've owned, or just the general thinness of them. They do suck up the water from your skin, but that leaves you with an uncomfortably thin wet towel to finish drying with, not the preferable (to me) thick, deep wicking cotton towel that, even as you're finishing drying off, still has enough dry area to keep you comfortable. I can imagine these will be even more uncomfortable to use when the colder weather arrives. I would exchange them if I could, but I imagine, since they've been laundered and used, that is no longer an option. I will know better next time. June 11, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by extremely disappointed I am extremely disappointed with these towels. I expected better from Eileen Fisher...especially at this price. They are pretty to look at, but that's as far as it goes. The towels are not absorbent. I hoped that after several washings, this would be corrected which has not happened...and to make matters worse, after several washings, they continue to leave lint on everything that I wash them with. They even leave lint on my skin when drying off with them. May 25, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Design excellence We're very fussy about our towels. They can't be too small or too large, too thin or too thick. And they have to fold symmetrically, so they look handsome on our towel racks. These fit the bill perfectly. The neutral color (oyster gray) nicely compliment our EF natural linen shower curtain. The linen blend gives them a bit of a loofah effect, which is something we like. If you prefer softer towels, don't choose these. They are quite absorbent and dry quickly. Glad we chose them. The Oyster Gray is a gray color, while the Driftwood is brown. However, they do go nicely together.
