Easy Open-Front Jacket is rated 3.4 out of 5 by 9.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Relaxed deconstructed jacket Ordered it in steeple gray, liked it so much I also ordered it in black. I'm full figured and the extra large fit in a flattering, figure skimming way. It's hard to find well made not too heavy jackets to wear in the desert Southwest. Will fit the business casual dress code in the University. Will pair nicely with pants or a skirt. I love the flounce in the back! Not too girly.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loving the Tencel! Tencel fabric is a joy to wear because it's lightweight but not flimsy - and drapes like silk. Lightly iron out of the package and it will wear beautifully. This jacket offers incredible versatility across seasons and events or non-events.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from a little different I have needed a black blazer forever but have held off because they are so boring. This adds that little something I have wanted.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Thought I'd hate it based on reviews I initially saw this jacket and loved the longer-in-back styling but after reading the reviews had decided not to get it. Then it went even more on sale so I figured I'd try it. I was prepared to hate it and was pleasantly surprised. The Tencel fabric is a twill, so it's actually substantial and has some weight/drape. I think the trick is to buy it quite fitted. I got a size XS and I'm 5'6", 125 lbs, 28DD on top and 38 hips. The xs fit my narrow shoulders perfectly, and the narrow sleeves flatter my skinny arms nicely. The sleeves only hit at my wrist, though to be fair I have long arms. I loved the back length that covers my booty because I prefer leggings and skinny pants. The bottom fits loose/flowy so this could work well if you're a pear. The black can look a bit faded due to the silky sheen of the fabric and depending on what you wear with it so coordinate it carefully if you are also wearing black pants. It has a "structured cardigan" vibe and I can definitely use it for business casual - it would dress up nicely with a pretty blouse and point toe shoes. The downsides: it did arrive wrinkled which doesn't bode well for this as a good travel garment. I have not tried washing/ironing yet but if that turns out to be a problem I'll let the dry cleaners deal with it (but that would negate the benefits of machine washability!) I also think the black is a better choice - it hides wrinkles better. So bottom line, I think this can work depending on your shape. At least for size XS you need narrow shoulders and skinny arms.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Rather Disappointed Boy, I had some high hopes for this jacket. I just got mine and wow, it is not as pictured. First of all, what is up with the packaging? The jacket was so ridiculously wrinkled when I got it that it just looked terrible when I tried it on. Other mail-order places send me clothing that hangs on a hanger in a box so that it doesn't arrive all wrinkled and beaten looking. Rather surprised Garnet Hill doesn't do this considering the price point of their clothing. t've just spent a half hour steaming the thing - it looks a bit better but not nearly as classy or streamlined as it does on the model in the picture. It has a rather odd shape. And that shape is not flattering to me.

front length?/ general fit

in XS? Inlcuding that kind of info (or even height of model) would be really useful!) Thank you also is fit sort of loose as shown? Front pic looks slightly tailored, so curious.
Asked by: Naia
The XS measures 26" at the longest point in front. The fit is relaxed.

What does the back look like?

Asked by: ishopper
The back of the jacket is simply constructed. There is one seem where the tunic attaches to the back, but there is not any other seams or embellishments.
