I was pleased to receive an insert that was perfectly sized for my pillow cover. It's well-stuffed and substantial, without any pesky feathers sticking out. Exactly what one would hope for from a decorative pillow insert.

I like these inserts

I make my own pillow covers to suit my decor. In the past I have used the poly filled forms I buy at the fabric store. Not durable! They flatten out after a few months and become lumpy. Not these feather inserts! They are firm, and after using them to lay my head on, or rest the laptop on, or place behind my back for support when I sit in the recliner, they assume the needed shape. When I'm ready to place them back on the sofa, I give them a good "spanking" and they puff right back up, nice and full and firm, looking great. I have not had a problem with feathers poking through the fabric. Perhaps the fabric I use to make my covers is more appropriate for feather pillows than that used in the store bought covers. I recommend these inserts!

The holiday pillow with the the blonde and black dogs is adorable. The size is a perfect fit for a chair or sofa and it is very comfortable support.

The down pillow inserts I purchased are just perfect. Just the right amount of scrunch. Extra nice to get them on sale- too bad you were out of stock on the 18 inch, but I will order those later. Thanks for speedy delivery and top quality!

I was looking for pillows to "stuff" my variously sized pillow covers. It's not as easy as you think! Garnet Hill is great in this regard; they had every size, on sale, and immediate delivery. I have always found the service from GH to be excellent, and I have not been disappointed. If you need pillows, definitely go to Garnet Hill!!!

I am purchasing the cutwork felt pillow covers. They are 18 x 18 per description on site. Can you advise whether an 18 x 18 insert or 20 x 20 insert would work best for those pillows? Some manufacturers recommend sizing up a couple of inches for inserts and some do not. Thanks for your help.
