Cotton Gauze Long Cover-Up - Regular is rated 4.3 out of 5 by 14.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Long and lovely! I got this as a sundress for those crazy hot days. This dress skims the body and is gauzy and light, but gives enough coverage that I could wear it to work. I'm 5'11" and on me this dress is about 4 inches above the ankle, tea length. I'd prefer a couple inches longer but it looks fabulous as is.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from My favorite spring/summer staple! I love this dress, and while it says cover-up, this is my summer uniform! I buy at least one every year - and currently own 4. I recommend sizing down 1 size when ordering.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Just perfect I have looked at this cover-up for years, but was hesitant to purchase because many said that it was too voluminous and I am not a very big person, so sometimes things that are voluminous overwhelm me. I noticed that Garnet Hill slimmed down the fit and extended the lining. So I took a chance and I am very pleased. I am just barely 5'4" and went for the petite (which I don't normally do). The dress hits me exactly wear it does on the model in the picture. I think the regular might have been a little too much. There is still PLENTY of room in the body. I am about 120 lbs and 34DD. Plenty of chest room. One reviewer thought it might be too warm for a cover-up because of the lining. I see her point, but I was really looking for a dress over a bathing suit that would also work well in a restaurant or shopping without being too sheer. If that is what you want, then this is your dress.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Beautifully simple This dress is somewhat heavy to be used as a beach coverup; the lining is too thick and would likely be far too warm for the beach. As a sundress, however, this is superb. The colors are rich, the cut supremely flattering in a effortless and simple way. Launders well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this! I purchased this coverup last year and wore it as a dress. There is a lining so it seems more like a dress. It has a nice tapered fit and comes in petite--it fit me perfectly, so much so that I ordered another one this year!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Summer Dress Love this dress. It flows beautifully and has a flattering shape. I've tried it with and without a belt, and it looks good either way. I've been wearing it around the house, dreaming of summer. Can't wait to wear it at the beach!

I have been trying to decide between the petite or regular size?

I am just barely 5'4" with a short torso and long legs. Noticed that the petite is reduced in price and am leaning toward that one, but of course fit is more important. One commenter said she thought that this (regularly sized) was an awkward length and she would have preferred longer. Not sure I would feel the same, but was wondering if anyone had tried the petite on for size.

Just a follow-up. Thanks Garnet Hill for attempting to answer my question, but that response was no help. Of course I could measure, but I was looking for an opinion from someone with a similar body type. Turns out that I made the correct decision. Petite size was perfect for this garment on a 5'4" frame.

Is the "Chili" a dusty red? More pinky or more orangey?

I'm trying to figure out if it would go with either the grey floral print from the double strap style swimsuits or the paisley patchwork print from the ruched style swimsuits. Thanks!

It is a dusty red.
