Cotton Fleece Blanket and Throw from Germany 4.7 5 609 609
wonderful So soft and snuggly and yet it breathes so you dont overheat. I love it. Beautiful deep colors. December 22, 2014
BEST BLANKET I have found that natural materials, cotton in this case, make for the most comfortable, pleasing to the touch and warm fibers. I look forward to getting into bed with this blanket and the Garnet Hill supima cotton flannel sheets. It's a combination you can't beat. I ordered the blanket in the twin size and it is very generous. Because of the quality, I know I will enjoy it for years to come. Very happy with my purchase. December 17, 2014
soft this blanket is soft and thick, all cotton! it is just on the small side. don't expect to cover your feet and arms, it's on the short side. December 12, 2014
Gorgeous quality and color So nice to get something of beautiful quality. I bought this wondering if cotton would be warm. This is exactly as described and reviewed. A beautiful, high quality blanket with great warmth. I will buy another . December 8, 2014
Love this throw! This throw is even prettier than I thought it would be and oh so soft and warm. Has plenty of body to it. Will work really well when it's cold. I chose the sea green and it's gorgeous. Great value when purchased on sale. Highly recommend. December 6, 2014
Love this blanket This blanket is very high quality. Was looking for a cotton blanket that wouldn't shed or pill and so far so good! Was worried that the fleece would be too warm at night but it is the perfect weight and so soft. Will probably buy more for other beds in our home. December 6, 2014

Using it in Northern CA right now and it's perfectly comfortable. Not too heavy or light - a perfect weight. Also great in winter with a comforter.

Answer:
Depends on your preferences, but I think it's perfect for that! I live in the same region and use it year-round, either by itself when it's warmer or with a down duvet in colder seasons.

Answer:
I would say that if you sleep with the window open this blanket will be quite comfortable. It's cotton so it's not as warm as a woolen blanket would be. It is definitely warmer than an open weave cotton blanket. My son used it all Summer with the AC on. Hope this helps.

No. I life in SF in the city and have had this blanket for about a year now. Use it as a throw in the living room and absolutely love it. Warm, but not too hot for our cool nights and mornings.

Answer:
It would be perfect for nights in the 60's. Here in Southern California, our nights are in the 60s and 70s, during the summer and one of these works very well. In the winter when the nights get down in the 30s and 40s, we have two of these blankets on the bed. At one time we had a heavy wool blanket on the bed, but two of these together are lighter in weight , more comfortable and affords the same warmth.

I don't know how many ounces but it's a heavy weight, not like a towel as a previous reviewer wrote, resembles fleece, heavy and of good quality...but beware that it pills. Pilling in ighter color not as noticeable.

I'm asking because I noticed the measurements you give for this blanket in Queen size after washing, 85"W x 90"L, is 5 inches narrower and 6 inches shorter than that of your other blankets. I just want to make sure it will work well with a 13 inch mattress, that there is enough to tuck in at the foot of the bed without coming out.

Answer:
Yes, it can be dry cleaned, but I have had many of these blankets and as far as cleaning them is concerned if they are washed and dried on coolish warm settings they come out as nice as they ever were prewashed.

Answer:
Once washed the Queen measurements will be 85" x 90". This will allow for a 12.5" drop on sides and 18” drop on bottom (the blanket should come down from top of bed at least 8” making the drop on the end 18”).
If you use a king blanket, the drop on sides will be 21” (allowing 8 inches to tuck under) and same as above on end.
We would not recommend dry cleaning this blanket.
