Cotton Fleece Blanket and Throw 4.7 5 471 471
Beaautiful Blanket! Purchased this for my brother - washed it and put it on the bed. It's really lovely - washed beautifully. I'd love to get one for myself! June 8, 2013
The best cotton blanket made This is a wonderful light weight blanket - soft, warm, and well made. The sizing is generous and the colors are great. I bought it in Guava for my bed room and have a king size navy in the guest room, which also acts as a bedspread. I cannot recommend this product enough. June 8, 2013
substantial, warm and soft this blanket is thick, soft and warm. i was not expecting it to be so substantial, but just love it and would definitely buy another one - possibly the next time i need a wedding present. it is the kind of blanket to keep forever and then pass down to your children. June 7, 2013
Definate Improvement I purchased a throw many years ago and was not particularily impressed with it. I decided to give it another try and recently ordered a blanket. The 2 things that I did not like about my throw was remedied. The material is now pre-shrunk(?) and true to size after washing, and the seams have been reinforced. Thank you for listening GH. It would be great to see this blanket in a organic line/natural colors. I'm happy with my purchase. May 14, 2013
Great blanket Great blanket, warm and soft. Got the tan, love the color. May 11, 2013
Love the fabric- color not so much Love the blanket's fabric and the fact that it's 100% cotton. But, the "Pure White" color is not so much white as it is cream. When you use white sheets it looks a little dingy next to them. I'll keep it, but the color name should be revised! May 3, 2013

Answer:
It would be perfect for nights in the 60's. Here in Southern California, our nights are in the 60s and 70s, during the summer and one of these works very well. In the winter when the nights get down in the 30s and 40s, we have two of these blankets on the bed. At one time we had a heavy wool blanket on the bed, but two of these together are lighter in weight , more comfortable and affords the same warmth.

Answer:
I would say that if you sleep with the window open this blanket will be quite comfortable. It's cotton so it's not as warm as a woolen blanket would be. It is definitely warmer than an open weave cotton blanket. My son used it all Summer with the AC on. Hope this helps.

Using it in Northern CA right now and it's perfectly comfortable. Not too heavy or light - a perfect weight. Also great in winter with a comforter.

No. I life in SF in the city and have had this blanket for about a year now. Use it as a throw in the living room and absolutely love it. Warm, but not too hot for our cool nights and mornings.

Depends on your preferences, but I think it's perfect for that! I live in the same region and use it year-round, either by itself when it's warmer or with a down duvet in colder seasons.

I don't know how many ounces but it's a heavy weight, not like a towel as a previous reviewer wrote, resembles fleece, heavy and of good quality...but beware that it pills. Pilling in ighter color not as noticeable.

I'm asking because I noticed the measurements you give for this blanket in Queen size after washing, 85"W x 90"L, is 5 inches narrower and 6 inches shorter than that of your other blankets. I just want to make sure it will work well with a 13 inch mattress, that there is enough to tuck in at the foot of the bed without coming out.

Answer:
Yes, it can be dry cleaned, but I have had many of these blankets and as far as cleaning them is concerned if they are washed and dried on coolish warm settings they come out as nice as they ever were prewashed.

Answer:
Once washed the Queen measurements will be 85" x 90". This will allow for a 12.5" drop on sides and 18” drop on bottom (the blanket should come down from top of bed at least 8” making the drop on the end 18”).
If you use a king blanket, the drop on sides will be 21” (allowing 8 inches to tuck under) and same as above on end.
We would not recommend dry cleaning this blanket.
