Charcoal Slubbed Stripe Fern Top from Velvet by Graham & Spencer 4 5 5 5
Nice Shirt but... This is a really cool shirt and I kept it; however, the length came down to the center of my thigh in the "XS." I am 5'1". I had the shirt significantly altered in the overall length--removed about six inches--and in the sleeves--also several inches too long. It could be categorized as a tunic except the overall fit is very snug--which I like. Just a weird design. March 8, 2014
Great color, shape, but..... Even more than most Velvet tops, this seems overpriced; it is just a basic, thin tee. The shaping, stripes and colors are great--cool mustard, but I could not justify the price (even on sale)! Fit is TTS. February 8, 2014
Long on Looks and Long on Length As cute as it looks in the photo, good colors, fits perfectly. It's long enough to wear as a dress (I'm 5'2"). October 28, 2013
Soft and Comfortable Nice casual, tunic length T. A little thin but good to wear with leggings or jeans. October 28, 2013
Definitely not an ordinary t-shirt This is a very nice t-shirt. Though the fabric is quite thin, it has body and a nice feel and texture to it. I wear it, for fall, with a short, fitted wool vest, open in front or a short, thin cardigan with narrow trousers or a longish skirt. It is casual but not sloppy. While usually ordering a L or sometimes a M, I ordered an XL for this and am happy with the fit. It has laundered well. I found it expensive. October 26, 2013

Answer:
Velvet garments are sized to Velvet specifications and do run smaller than Garnet Hill sizing.

Answer:
They don't run small, but they are not extremely oversized like many clothes today. 30"bust does sound small though, I wonder if that was a typo. I wear size small, bust generally designated 34 and that fit me perfectly.
