Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater is rated 4.4 out of 5 by 319.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Will love these in the fall I purchased two of these lovely turtlenecks last month. The fabric is soft and plush. I typically order a medium top, which I did, although the Garnet Hill size advice said I was a small. I ordered another color in small. Although I am keeping both, I like the fit of the small MUCH better. Good job Garnet Hill. The medium will be great with jeans, but is definitely more roomy.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Special treat of a sweater A new cashmere sweater is a special treat every year and this is the first one I've purchased from Garnet Hill. I like the fit of this turtleneck: I have a long neck and the neck is tall and stands up nicely all day (I hate slouchy turtlenecks); while slim fit it isn't so snug that it looks stretched around my hips. Is is a perfect balance between dressy and casual -- I can wear it anywhere.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater I love my new Cashmere Turtleneck Sweater! I purchased a wonderful cocoa brown color that goes beautifully with my brown cords! It is cold weather where I live and my new sweater fights the chill and keeps me cozy! Just as good was the price! I always thought that cashmere was "out of my budget"!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Retro Sweater! I've worn the sweater twice now, and both times I was asked where I found it. The sweater reminded them of sweaters teen girls wore in the 80s. I don't know; maybe that's why I liked it to!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from very pretty pattern and colors. I would have liked it more if it were a bit longer but I will still give it 5 stars.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Lovely Turtleneck This midweight turtleneck is comfortable and quite flattering. At 5'6" and 124 lbs (slim build), the XS fit well. I do love the new, slimmer styling with the taller turtleneck--that is what makes this sweater so flattering and stylish. The quality is top-notch (soft, warm, and comfortable--not a bit scratchy) and looks good on its own or layered beneath a jacket. I will be ordering other colors next fall.

in the picture of the model wearing the warm heather gray, the color looks almost more oatmeal than gray. Is it a true gray?

Asked by: ESSK
It looks more true gray to me.

I am 5"11", 125 lbs (chest size 34 AA). Would a medium be too large? or would the small be too short in sleeves and length?

Asked by: GarnetHillinBoston
I am 5' 4". This sweater was too short on me in length... kept riding up above the button on my jeans. It is a nice weight of cashmere, though. I found that it needed about three more inches in length. I am a little bustier than you mention that you are... a D, but even so, I would imagine that unless you have very short torso, it would be too short in length for you.

Can this sweater be hand washed?

Asked by: caba
I hand wash all my cashmere in cold water with a special detergent for hand-washing. If a front-loading washer has a "hand washables" setting, that works, too, if doesn't spin dry at the end. Just roll the sweater in a towel to blot it and dry flat. I always add a dab of basic hair conditioner to the water, which softens the cashmere nicely. Dry-cleaning cashmere seems to rob it of its natural softness and loftiness; you end up with a less luxurious sweater.

What is the difference between this sweater and the classic cashmere turtleneck (it is one of the sale of the day items today)?

are they the same sweater or one is lighter than the other?
Asked by: raspberry
This sweater is not "sale of the Day" The sweater seems shorter.

How do you properly store your cashmere sweaters?

Can you hang the sweaters with felt hangers? I want to avoid the sweaters getting wrinkled and stretched.
Asked by: LWMac
We do not suggest to hang the cashmere sweaters because they will stretch. We would suggest to fold them.
