Asymmetrical Boiled Wool Coat - Regular 4.4 5 202 202
I adore this coat I ordered this coat in black and it's perfect for Southern California evenings. I love the weight and feel of the fabric and the smartness of the asymmetrical design. Because I bought it on sale, it was also a good value -- a win-win February 24, 2015
Didn't love it I wanted to love this classic chic coat, but sent it back. Here's why: True Fit sizing was way off - this coat was HUGE by at least one size; Style - asymmetrical piece hung like a big blanket and I had to fuss with the collar to get it to look like the picture; Color - teal is actually 'Confederate' blue (and, with hardware and all that drape I looked like I was headed off to a Civil War reenactment). Regarding other reviews, this is a light weight fair weather coat and, yes, it would feel too bunchy if layered; sleeves - not tight at all but definitely on the long side; drape - let it settle on a hanger before trying it on. Quality and price - Good quality, if not a bit overpriced. February 4, 2015
Hip and fun Don't hesitate on this coat, it's gorgeous! I bought the rosewood color to break out from the usual black and gray. The day I received this I didn't want to take it off. It's warm but not bulky, stylish, and you won't see yourself coming and going. It's great for AZ winters and traveling to other cooler climes. I wear a 6 in GH and it fit as expected - perfectly. I hope it's available again next year - I will definitely purchase in another color. January 25, 2015
Was worth the wait I waited until I could get the coat on sale to order it. Then it was back ordered and I waited another 6 weeks. But I love this coat and I am glad I ordered it. I might only get to wear it a few months this season, but I am sure I will enjoy it next year too. January 15, 2015
Wanted It To Work I loved this coat on the model. I was excited to receive it, but disappointed when I tried the coat on. It felt very comfortable and surprisingly warm to be so light. I just didn't love it on me. It will be going back. January 10, 2015
a gorgeous coat. I gave this coat to my daughter-in-law for Christmas. Her words describe her delight:"Thank you so much for the GORGEOUS coat I received for Christmas. I've already worn it a couple of times: it is so versatile, comfortable, and elegant. You have a great eye for style, and I am much appreciative." P S You made me look good!! January 1, 2015

In one of the pictures, the item looks more like a sweater. How thick and bulky is it? In the winter time, can you wear another coat over it?

Answer:
this is definitely a transitional coat. Not warm enough for the dead of winter (unless you live in southern CA) but would be incredibly awkward under a normal coat.

Answer:
We do not recommend you wear this under another coat as it would be too bulky.
