Asian Wrap Shorty Pajamas is rated 4.6 out of 5 by 170.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Simply wonderful I can count on Garnet Hill to consistently provide high quality, comfortable clothing. These pajamas are cool, comfy and wash beautifully. They will join a similar pair I bought from GH about 10 years ago, which are still going strong.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very comfortable I love these pj's. I had purchased two other pair and liked them so much I got another. I love that they are organic. Very soft and comfortable. They wash well, no shrinkage, no bleeding of colors. Even if organic is not your thing, these pj's are a winner.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Favorite PJs! This is my 5th pair of Asian wrap pajamas - 2nd shorty style. The long sleeves and pants were my favorite since I discovered them a number of years ago. I tried the shorty last year and love them, so I needed to add another pair. These are so comfortable - both the beautiful cotton fabric and the cut. No tugging or binding and they wash beautifully. Bonus, the lovely patterns on the fabric. Very well made - my first set is still wearing well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great PJ's At Last These pajamas are just right. They are comfortable, and the fabric is soft. They are also heavy enough not to be see through, but light enough not to be too hot for summer. I've looked everywhere for good pajamas and these are a great find. I also purchased the crop length set. They do run a little big.

How much stretch is there in the waist?

I am usually sz 2 in pants, 6/8 in tops. The measurements of the XS top seem generous - I am a 34D and measure 35 to 35.5" across the chest & 35.5" at the hips. My waist is ~27". I want pj's to be comfy but if I order a S for a larger waist, it seems the hips and top will be way too large. I am small overall...5"1", 110lbs. Do you suggest S or XS? Thanks!

some stretch.. like i have pointed out to Garnet Hill before, I have to cut notches in my pjs as they are too tight! I am a 12, and am buying the XL (16-18) supposedly, as the larges don't fit. And the XL's are not exactly xl on me. I am not a big girl.. If you like your pajamas loose-ish, buy a size bigger..

Are these true to size?

Asked by: DianaB
I would say no. I would order up a size especially if you like your pajamas a bit loose, so you can turn over while in bed. I am finding that they are not true to size.

is the sizing for the shorty pajamas the same as the long pant version?

I bought a small in the long pants, would i order small in the shorty as well?
Asked by: NYJO
I only have 1 pr of the long pant version. While reading the answer that customer service gave you, I would disagree with their explanation. The long pant waist should be the same size as the short size waist.. That doesn't make sense. I have had to size up in the shorty pjs. They are too tight!

Should I order according to the general size chart or according to the measurements listed specifically for these pjs?

According to your size chart listed under "Customer Service", I should order L (12-14) in all your clothing. According to the "measurements" listed for the Asian Wrap Shorty pjs, my top size is between XS & S and my bottom size would be XL in the waist and the hips would be way too loose on me. The measurements listed for the top and bottom of these pjs seem out of proportion to each other. I am over 65 and am thicker around the middle than I was, but in most clothing a L fits my waist comfortably. My measurements are 39-33-38. If I order a pair based on the listed measurement for the top, the bottoms will be too small. If I order based on the measurement for the bottoms, the top will be enormous on me. What size should I order in the Asian Wrap Shorty pjs?

The measurements under the Measurements tab are the actual garment measurements. We would recommend going by these for finding the best fit.

How short are the shorts (where do they hit on the thigh) - I have two teenage boys....

Please click on the Measurements tab and scroll down for the bottom measurements. The inseam is listed and can help you determine how they will fit on your frame.
